Steve, any way of finding out if they are going to do any kind of Installment plan for the AT-AT right off the bat? I liked how MR offered the pyament plan on some of the sabers they had out for awhile. Would really be great if they did offer it tho. I am going to try and get it anyways. Just have to figure a way out to get money for it. :p

Yeah I'm betting that the cost of that Walker is gonna be big. I hope Mater Replicas releases some more info on it.

Hey Steve, great coverage of everything! Thanks!

My MR question for you: Do you have any pics of the Klingon Disruptor (if it was there)? I couldn't figure out what the metallic-log-looking thing was under Leia's blaster, but then, I wouldn't know a disruptor if it hit me on the head. I'm looking for a pic to show a friend.

Sir Steve, can you ask MR if they might consider doing a lifesize Han Solo in Carbonite in the future? Thanks-

I could go for a Lifesize Han in Carbonite! I'd pay for that over an AT-At any day. More for your $.

The likelihood isn't that great of them doing Han in Carbonite as Illusive Originals did him back in '96 or '97. Back then he retailed for $1200, I would imagine that he would go for a little bit more now. I'm still kicking myself for not getting him then.

I too am kicking myself for not getting one, but I've seen one in person and the side panels are done very poorly. I'd rather buy one from MR that is done right (maybe even with panels that light up) and pay $1300 - $1700 than an Illusive Orginals that show up on Ebay once in a blue moon for over $2000+.
MR is growing into a big company and with a big price tag on the AT-AT that will probally sell out in less than a week, I can see them doing a Han in Carbonite in the future. And I hope that when they do, they make enough for most of the people that are still kicking them themselves for not getting one back in '96 / '97.

Even though $1200 really seems very high to me, that AT-AT is absolutely stunning. I wish their stuff wasn't so limited though.

Yeah, with big heavy priced price tags they should let collectors know about it 4-6 months in advance to the date you can order it so collectors can save up and work out their finances to purchase a big priced item. And with items being so limited, you don't know if it will sell out in the first week or not. I'd love to get the AT-AT, but I don't know if I'll be able to get one with the ordering date due this Spring. At least the Stormtrooper Blaster is a Summer/Fall, Q3 item that I can save up for. But I don't understand why the Stormtrooper Blaster (that alot of people including myself and the 501st has been waiting awhile for) is so limited to 1000, while the Rebel Blaster is limited to 2,500. It should be the other way around. I plan on getting two of them- 1 for my Stormtrooper Costume and 1 for display. And I'm shure that alot of others that have a Stormtrooper costume will be ordering too along with the basic MR collectors- that's alot of people!!!!

Where did you hear a run of 1000 for the Stormie blaster?? The people in discussions I have seen stated a HIGH edition number for the Blaster. At $500, It should be around 5000(my guess).

"Just heard from Dave who is at Toyfair. This is regarding the MR Stormtrooper blaster:

-trooper blaster is in early prototype stage
-not sure which version it will be (ANH, ESB)
-HIGH release number!!(lower prices!)
-WILL come with a display case
-WILL have the ugly orange plug (who cares though!)"

Yeah I'm passing on the AT-AT altogether so I can get the Stormtrooper Blaster with no delay. High numbers? Low prices? We'll just see. Yes it better come with a display case.

I'll find a way to remove the orange plug -you can do it with the Jango Blasters -you can do it with this one! :D

Gee, who would that be? ;)

Yeah the Stormtrooper blaster is going to have a high run, but I do wish it was limited to 1000. The good thing is that with the high production run you can count on finding them much cheaper on eBay and secondary dealers.

The AT-AT on the other hand with the high price tag does have a rather high production run IMO, so I do not see it selling out within a month at all. A run of 500 would have been better if MR wanted a "quick" seller. However I do plan to order mine on the day they go on sale. :)
