Like Weird Al once said, it's time to celebrate your birthday. It happens once a year. You eat a lot of broccoli and drink a lot of beer. You should feel very lucky that you've got something to eat; a million people everyday are starving in the streets.

(Come on, boys and girls, sing along!)

j/k :p

To quote the classics:

You're one year older,
one year wiser,
rock n roll star,
king, czar, and a kaiser.

A room full of friends,
a mouth full of cake,
every present is for you
and it feels pretty great.

You're the man of the hour,
the V.I.P.,
you get the first slice...
of the P.I.E.

But first, blow out the candles...
and make a wish,
put a smile on,
'cause it's your birthday bi***! - Hesh, Sealab 2021

Yeah, I got that one from the Pod Six website too and then turned it into that wav file (and then turned that wav file into a smaller file that was censored for the site :crazed: ), but the lyrics I transcribed onto a TXT file the day that show aired. :D

Anyway, happy birthday!!!

lol. What can I say, I operate in a very Bruce Wayne style of arriving late to my own shindigs! heheheheh

and i had a blast in Cali. I had to laugh as when I left Toledo last week, we had just had a snowstorm that gave us nearly 10 inches of snow and even closed campus for a day. Most of the time in Cali it was in the mid 70's with a lot of sunshine. And I even saw a certain zombie film that I'll posting a review on a bit. wink wink. :lipsrsealed:

I flew into San Diego and my buddy lives in Vista. We did travel into LA for a bit and we also got dinner and did some hunting in a few places, but I don't recall many of the names, aside from the Irvine Spectrum, which we were at monday evening. And SSGers, sadly.

If it's that movie theater / shopping complex, I grew up much of my life by the Irvine Spectrum. It's newer to me as it wasn't always built there when I was a kid.

Of course I live in San Diego now. Vista is probably 40 minutes from me. The airport you flew into is 13 minutes from me.

How do you know a friend out here in Vista?

No. I was thinking we'd get take-out and then watch the complete library of Michael Bay movies for the evening's encore!

And my buddy moved out there a few years back. We were pals in Columbus, OH but he joined the service and was stationed at Pendleton for a while and since he got back from Iraq, he's been working out there.

Wow. Happy Birthday again. It seems like you just had a birthday 365 days ago. What gives?

I suppose you enjoyed that birthday so much you've decided to have one every year now, huh?

Well I for one am going to stop having birthdays. It's part of my plan to forever prevent myself from aging any more.

The boxes on my favorite products' packaging read that they begin to be appropriate for 4 year olds. Well, except for the fact that I need to be at least 16 to have my driver's license so I can get to the toy store to purchase more of these things, I don't have to ever grow up any more! Well, 18 and 21 have some advantages, and if you're 25 you can rent a car. But I swear I'm going to stop there. I mean what's next? You become old enough for dentures, hearing aids, and Depens?

These thoughts for your birthday were brought to you by Tycho.

I'm actually 27 today, Tycho, so i'm passed the birthdays that give me new access to items and whatnot. Frankly, I can't really wait until i'm older so I can say/do rude and inappropriate things while crapping my pants. I still do rude/inappropriate things, but they're not as accepted. If i do them while i'm older, people will say, "aw, he's just an old man who doesn't know any better." And as for crapping my pants, haven't done that since my childhood, but looking forward to the time I can do it again without anybody caring. Thanks for the b-day....essay?

Happy Birthday Guyute!! Hope you have many, many more.
