Anyone read NYX? What do you think?
It's a pretty good comic so far, but issue #4 is a few months late, which is really annoying (Does anyone know why?).

Dude, I LOVE NYX. (Thats like a bumper sticker or something). Josh Middleton is my new fave artist with his almost cel-like animation. Brilliant. I think the book is running late because...well I dont know, but it cant be helping readership. And that sucks because this is one of the primo books on the racks right now.

GO BUY IT NOW!!!

GO BUY IT NOW!!!Middleton's art is very unique, almost like a realistic animation. It's very well written and told in a pretty realistic manner (well, as real as possible with mutants).
I really hope it continues without going into X-Men territory. I think that would ruin what I like about NYX.

I completely agree with you EP! I loved the first ish, I liked the art and the way it looks like it's painted in watercolors or something. And the story is good too! Eagerly waiting on the next ish.

NYX #4 is soooo very late now it's not funny.
It's getting frustrating.
Anyone hear anything on why it's so late?

Shorty after my last post, I discovered this on comicscontinuum.com:

X23's mini-series will be written by Marvel Studios' Craig Kyle, who created the character for the X-Men: Evolution animated series, and his writing partner, Chris Yost.

"She has this very hard past and we offered Craig the opportunity to tell his story in a Marvel comic," Quesada said.

No release date has been set. Plus, and image of an upcoming NYX issue.
