I think I saw something like this posted quite a while back, but can't find it by search. Does anybody know of any software that will allow me to get a screen capture from a DVD?

Thanks for any help :)

The new WinDVD program allows u to screen capture.

ANy of those programs allow you to capture "on computer screen" video capture. Like a screen pic capture but video to capture what is happening on the computer screen.

I have an ATI video card which comes with an ATI file player. One of the functions is a still capture.

All you need todo is pause the video and take a screen cap. Dont try and do it while its playing.

I use PowerDVD as my primary DVD playing software, it come with screen cap capabilities. It also allows you to capture images, either as seen on the monitor, or direct from the disc. :D

yeah, powerdvd lets you do it - on my machine, only if hardware acceleration is off, however, which i find weird... but ATI has kinda freaky drivers sometimes.
