View Full Version : Need Some Help

hey. I need a little POTJ help here

are the mega action figures "obi wan, darth maul, destroyer droid" 3 3/4 inch figures, and if so are they different from other figures, or just re releases

The POTJ Theed Invasion game comes with a figure. Rorworr I believe. who the hell is rorworr and what is the figure like.

I collect one of every figure, and am at the point where I have just about every figure they have made. and these are some of the few things left.
I just wondered if these were figures I need to get. if they were 3 inch figures and look like the rest of the figures. any help is appreciated. thanks Keith

The mega action figures "obi wan, darth maul, destroyer droid" are not 3 3/4 inch figures. They are like 6"

Rorworr is just a 3.75" wookie. Other than that I have no idea, but it is to scale with the rest.

So you should probably just get Rorworr for your basic collection.

The Rorworr figure is okay, just a new head sculpt on a Chewie body. I never played the game and only bought it to get the figure.

For Rorworr's history you might want to check Wizard's website:

"The young son of a Wookiee diplomat on Naboo becomes disenchanted with the growing power of the Empire, joins the Rebellion, and eventually becomes a mysterious and powerful force for good after the Empire's fall. This character description covers various stages of Rorworr's life, with complete stats at three different levels, for three different eras of play."

These Invasion games with Rorworr, might still be around some of your bookstores, that's the first place I'd look.

Of the three mega figures, the destroyer droid is the coolest. I have one on display, and I've read where you can roll him up in a ball. (I haven't tried this out of fear of breaking him).

Obi-Wan and Maul can be picked up at reasonable prices from some of the online dealers.

I have the Mega Destroyer Droid in wheel mode on my PC, I recently transformed it back to droid mode and found that the bendy spine doesn't hold up that well anymore. Also, the problem with the hips (this is a "straight out of the box" problem where the hips are very very tight on the rotational joint) is still there but has not gotten any worse over time. Wheel mode is a good representation, but the arms and legs transform differently than in the film (though it takes a keen eye to notice this and be concerned).

Good point. I can not believe what I find when I just look around a Dollar General type store or something like a Waldenbooks. And comic/hobby shops are ALWAYS a good bet to find things you never thought you'd find. Good Luck!
