I am a long time reader but a new contributer here. I just wanted to say that last week I ordered 4 of the new OTC figures from ebay. well I got 2 of them in and They are amazing!! I received Boba Fett OTC # 14 from andrew's toys and Bespin Luke OTC #26 from alliance collectlibles. (luke still has all of his acc. from the 1st realease) I orderd Luke on fri and got him on Mon. You can't beat that!!! I also see where you can order VOTC figures from alliance for $11.99 they are in-hand as well.
I can't stress enough how great these figures look in the package. I was around for the first figures in 1979. Man I love seeing this tribute to those days.
Anyway, thanks for letting me come and play!!!

Thanks for the post, tnswman, and welcome. Did the Bespin Luke have the new "cleaner" paint job as per the preview pics? Did the other figure you got have any change in appearance from it's previous incarnation?
Thanks for any more info, and congrats on your early scores. :)

Yes, Luke is very clean and the washing on the uniform is great. The figure is really a little darker than the photo showed. It looks much more authentic.
Boba is the same, they do show a better jetpack on the back of the package though. too bad they did'nt change it.
the figure info on the back of the card is written in a very dumbed down matter..For new fans and kids :)

Thanks for the info, tnswman. I'll be looking very forward to getting that new Bespin Luke, the 2002 version was one of my favorite figures that year - and he looks much improved. Sorry to belabour the point, but does he appear to have the action feature or did they remove it?

Yes he does still have it
