Hey, are these figures available through retail? Im not seeing them anywhere even though I live in an area which sees all kinds of obscure collectibles. Im starting to wonder if they are exclusives.

They should be available anywhere. I personally saw them a Toys R Us. They looked nice. For some reason I really thought they were small. I'm sure it is just the bubble size playing tricks on me but I couldn't help thinking they were smaller then they should be. I have them preordered so I didn't pick them up though.

These figures should start showing up in mass quantities shortly everywhere. They will be snatched up by every scalper in creation though, so get out there early to get them.

I found some at Target and Wal-Mart. They are selling out as quick as they put them out. That is why it seems like nothing has come out.

Luke is quite short, which is very dissappointing. Out of the initial four VOTC I was looking forward to Luke the most so I purchased two, one to open and one keep carded. His size is the one criteria that keeps him from being a truly stellar action figure

I pre-ordered cases of waves 2 and 2.5 just to be on the safe side. Retailers here don't allot much shelf space to Star Wars right now and the small quantities they put out go fast.

You should cancel wave 2 and get wave 3 instead. This way you get all 12 in two different cases. Hopefully you can still do that.

Yeah, I've only seen Solo and Obi wan at Kmart. I'm sure I'll be seeing more of them around although I do agree... Get them while you can because I'm sure the scalpers will be on the hunt for these without question  . Good luck to all.

He doesnt post much but he says the truth.
The one thing I hate about the preorder I made on these, is actually waiting for them to come. My first case isnt scheduled until August and my second one unbtil Sept. SO while most of you are braging about finding them, I will be anxiously awaiting mine.

May do just that. I pre-ordered from StarWarsShop.com, but they haven't offered wave 3 on their site yet. The cases aren't scheduled to ship until August, so there's still time.

I pre-ordered from BigBadToyStore.
* Got the "first set of first 8 figures" for $84.99 (August)
* Also got "wave .0005 set of 6" which has Boba, Stormy, Chewy, R2, Vader, & Lando - for $66.99 (September)
Not too bad of a deal. I'll end up with one full set plus an extra Vader to open (probably trade off the extra lando).
Oh yeah, and L.A is dry as hell. I haven't seen one OTC figure at retail yet.....
