Hey guys,
Have you been getting strange emails in your bulk and inbox folders from people youve never heard of??? With mine all of these strange emails have also had attachments.. Some of the emailers I got today were: jkbailey1@ earthlink.net, 0@ uscntnt405.us.deloitte.com. I even tried to reply to these and they wouldnt go through.. Has anyone else been getting these?????

I was getting a lot of this stuff about a month ago, usually either 31 or 41k attachments called weird stuff, like "correction", with really poor english and stuff.... the "from" addresses may not even be legit, whatever virus it is seems to be able to just randomly fill in fields (usually the onlt real thing is your address in the "to" field)

Anyways, just ignore them, and if they pop up in your inbox (as opposed to the "bulk" folder, just mark them as spam)

And for NEVER open the attachments, they are some kind of virus for sure

My Yahoo address has been remarkably spam free.

I get a TON of those in my SSG email because it's on a public webpage which these viruses grab the emails from (specifically from an infected user's web browser cache usually), but not in my Yahoo email boxes.

Those e-mails have garbled titles and messages to bypass the security programs on your computer.

Clear the bulk folder. I've been getting them, too. Apparently your e-maill addy was lifted off of someone else's addy book and planted in whoever was dumb enough to download the attachment's addy book and now it's "replicating".
