AT-AT Question

I bought the AT-AT when it first came out and put the batteries in to make it light up and make sounds. All these functions still work but I want to take the batteries out so they do not corrode and ruin the vehicle. The problem is, I can not remember where or how the batteries went in. I have looked everywhere for a removal panel, but nothing seems to come off. If anyone can tell me where and how to get to the batterues, I would really appreciate it.

The batteries are inside the at-ats belly. open the door where figures go in. and it is on the panel where the buttons are. you will need a small screw driver (4 way head). you should find what you need there.
