Coming from Konami Japan after the SF movie selection (Space 1999 Eagle, Rescue Eagle, Hawk), the Aliens quadrilogy Aliens & Vehicles : The 1976 Battlestar Galactica collection. It will contain Cylon Basestar, Cylon Raider, Cylon Centurion, Galactica, Colonial Viper...

I am really looking forward to those.

PS Sicq, any signs of Furuta Trek series 3/Romando Trek series 2 (full sets) available for purchase anywhere other than Hobby Link Japan yet?

1976 Battlestar Galactica? Date notwithstanding, these look really nice. They did a great job with the Space:1999 series.

Hi BC3,
No, no more news yet. They will surely be available at J-list as well. They could also be found through XL-shop or Action-HQ. I know the Romandos will be in very soon at HLJ but we shouldn't excpect the Furutas to be available before october.

Yep! Action HQ shoot first !
$29.95 for the full set of five.

If you like to trade, HLJ will sell them in boxes of 10 or 12 for the same price - but randomly packaged...

The ToyWiz "Action Fleet" will be out most probably around january/february 2005 (ALAAAAAAS!!!).
But (there is a BUT!) : the asst. have changed ! No need to wait between the two waves to get either the Viper & the Raider as previously announced. First asst. will include 2X Colonial Viper, 2X Cylon Raider, 1X Cylon warrior figure. Asst. # 2 will only include figs and Asst. # 3 will include a Battle Damaged Viper.
They will be out during the Galactica2005 - 13 episodes serie broadcast on Sci-Fi channel. Anyone for a Galactica2005 spaceships line ?

Hey Sicq

Thanks for the heads-up - I have just ordered mine - can't wait.

J-List seem to be dragging their feet refarding the next waves of Romando & Furutas.

Just before getting the new micros, a little summary of the new serie - Episode 3 :

I may pick these up actually, if they are as good as the Alien/Aliens collection they they should be tops.

Would very much like to see what ships they'll do from the new series, got the pilot on dvd a few months ago, was great, quite a few different ships in too, some really nice designs.

After reading those episode reviews sicqnus I had to download them, so annoying to be away from the uk when its a rare treat for it to be airing there before the us like EVERYTHING else.

Got the first ep and watched that, awesome, am getting the second one now, can't wait for it!

11-03-2004, 01:36 AM
We got that Episode on Monday - it was brilliant!!

11-03-2004, 05:40 AM
Which ep are you upto back home britcit, number 3, the one with richard hatch guest staring?

All downloaded now, going too sit and watch them with my very french ham baguette, need cheering up after the way the election seems to be going.

11-03-2004, 03:44 PM
Yeah - that one was on on Monday.

Not as good as the 1st 2, but still pretty bloody brilliant.

I think I enjoyed it more than the second, but not as much as the first. Will be re-watching them though, truly great sci-fi!

Instead of late 2004, we should say early 2005...
Preorder a box of 10 units for $28.80 at HobbyLinkJapan.
I hope Action HQ will get them before march... but damnit, will we have to pay twice the price ? (...).

11-14-2004, 03:43 PM
So these have been put back then?I can't say that I mind actually, as I really want these sets and theres other stuff I want to buy too, so this spreads it out. Then again, I bet the next wave of furutas pops up about the same time as these will arrive, so it'll make no differences to my finances!Nevermind.

So, its looking like March then for these?Wonder what the hold up is.

11-25-2004, 01:40 AM
These are now available for pre-order at J-List (can't recommend them enough).

11-25-2004, 02:23 PM
Pre-ordered mine, thanks for the headsup britcit, now all we need are the furutas!

11-25-2004, 09:07 PM
The good point is : we will have the JoyRide "AF" before the Gashs'. The wrong point is... We will have to wait a little more for the Furutas StarTrek 3...

New AMT snapkits coming in 2005 : Ep3 Obi-Wan's Jedi Starfighter (red) and Ep3 Techno Union dro´d Tank (same as seen in the AOTC DVD bonuses - cinematics of unmade CG shots).

A cool shot of the space battle over Coruscant here : http://www.sicqnus.com/options/Ep3battle.jpg

Lots of new ship designs in that shot, great stuff :D
