"The PG-13 rating makes sense, considering the story line, says Scott Chitwood of TheForce.Net, a Star Wars news Web site. "From the original trilogy, we know that in Episode III, Anakin is horribly burned, Padmé (Amidala, the queen and senator who becomes the mother of Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia) dies, Mace Windu dies, Luke and Leia are separated, and the Jedi are wiped out," he says. "It would be hard to do them justice without the film being PG-13."

okay we all know mace will die, anakin becomes vader...yadda yadda. but i didnt expect padme to die. ive herd rumors she is really mon mothma and such. so is this confirmed that padme will die?? i mean, leia says she remembers her mother in ROTJ, though faitly, she still remembers. soo that must mean padme is around to mother luke and leia for awhile. anyone have anythoughts on this??

Mon Mothma is a totally seperate character. In fact she appears in the movie as one of the founders of the Rebel Allience. And yes, it's pretty much confirmed that Padme will die at the end of the film from Vader choking her for what he belives to be betrayl of him to Obi-Wan. In fact there is even a circulating picture of a floating casket being escorted by Handmaidens. And yes, Leia does remember her mother, but as she says it's 'Images and Feelings'. Supposedly it's through the force that she remembers her. When she died she may have left an impression on Leia in the Force. :)

I haven't seen them either, but about the mother thing Leia may also be referring to Mrs. Bail Organa
