Toys "R" Us Exclusives Report
Anxious to find out what Revenge of the Sith toys are on the way for 2005? Here are a few unconfirmed* toys that fans can expect:
First up is the long-rumored sneak preview Jedi Starfighter vehicle. This will be Anakin's ship (seen briefly in the teaser) and will come with a new figure of Anakin Skywalker as a pack-in exclusive. Look for this around March. Hope it's really not an exclusive, why would it be unless there's a non-exclusive one that doesn't come with a figure.
Next up, the Darth Vader Carry Case that was previously a Wal-Mart exclusive will be released at Toys "R" Us with some new figures, Anakin Skywalker and A Clone Trooper. These are most likely the same figures that showed up on mock-up packaging recently.
Finally, look for a new Revenge of the Sith-themed multipack that features the Sith. The four figures are Darth Vader, Darth Sidious, Count Dooku, and General Grievous. No word yet on if these will be all-new figures, repackaged figures, repainted figures, or some kit-bashed combination. Grievous isn't a Sith or a Force-user, so no idea why he's in a Sith multipack.
As for the future, we've also gotten word that fans and collectors can look forward to at least five more years new and exclusive toys of Star Wars, G.I. Joe and Transformers.
*Meaning it's not official until Hasbro announces it. All products are subject to change and/or cancellation.
