Tion Meddon- Shapeshifter???

Okay, just throwing this out...
I kinda thought Tion Meddon's little cheesy "spooky tooth flash" thing in the trailer was stupid, and when I showed the trailer to Jedielf she dais something to the effect of "looks like the Zam wessel bit in AOTC", which I also thought was really silly (not so much the death scene, but that bit where the scowl flashed on her face... and why the heck was she a shapechanger, anyways??? seemed tacked on)

SO anyways, I am pretty mich convinced that Tion is either just another shapechanger, or that perhaps he is even just another form of Sidious/Palpatine, working another angle.... the "tooth flash" seemed like a sort of cautionary aside, sorta like lando in ROTJ when he lets the mask down for a sec to let US know what's going on (well, and the other characters, too, but not the bad guys, they couldn't se it happen)
Any thoughts???
His mouth did look pretty elastic.... Lord Malakite thinks I'm nuts (he's half right) but II have a feeling JediElf was onto something...

Well, it's completely taken out of context from the actual scene. For all we know, he's getting ready to say "I love puppies" or something. :D

I doubt he's a shape-shifter, and I also doubt Palpatine is one. Why would he choose to look so gross as the Emperor?

What scowl thing are you talking about? When she looks at Anakin in her speeder? That wasn't really a scowl, that was just her changing into her natural form for whatever reason.

And then again you can only play the Shapeshifter card once, otherwise it's just lame and well, boring! I for one am afraid he'll be another 14-secs character Lucas will use to sell action figures. I just had enough of those when TPM came out

I think Palpatine is too lazy to keep himself in the more human form. Why do it? It takes energy...and who cares...he is the EMPEROR already. No one would dare tell him that he is hidious. :D
