StarWarsShop.com has this display available for pre-order (SKU: SWRBFDD1). Priced to sell at $69.99. At least they have some bigger photos of the display and box.

Apparently this display is the first of six...

Just saw on RS that this stand has been delayed until May but the good news for those of you that ordered one before Dec. 4, 2004 you will get the Empire Strikes Back one for free when it starts to ship.

The company that makes the action figure displays are also producing Star Wars display cabinets. From what I've read, they will be StarWarsShop.com exclusives as well.

In a side note, the same company also makes a Transformers display base.

I hope $10 because I want a ton of'em. :p

If it's $500, I hope they included a freakin lot of features for it like a laser light show, rotating display and mini fridge in the bottom. :beard:

Apparently production on the next two are further behind than I thought. The ESB and ROTJ dioramas are still labeled "work in progress." I'm looking forward to seeing the finished ESB display. I was wondering if it would be a cross between Hoth and Dagobah. A portion of Bespin would be cool too. The ROTJ one could be Endor and the Emperor's Throne Room.

I'd like to get all the dioramas plus the cabinet to keep 'em dust-free, but the price point is just too prohibitive.
