GTA: San Andreas for Xbox???

When does San Andreas come out for Xbox??? Does anyone know??? My PS2 is screwing up horribly nd I don't want to buy it and not be able to play when I want to.

Hey I feel ya man. I've had multiple problems with Sony's crappy video game hardware at some point. I went through 2 PS1 machines and 2 PS2s and my current machine still skips from time to time. And for the record I've never had a single problem with either my Xbox or Gamecube.

Now back to your question, will GTA San Andreas come out on the Xbox? I haven't heard any plans of Rockstar releasing it as they did with the GTA III and Vice City bundle but that doesn't mean it won't happen. I'd say at this point it is highly doubtful simply because Sony will want to milk the exclusivity of this title for as long as possible. Best chance would probably be next fall/winter but when you consider the next generation of systems are slated to arrive by the end of the year I'd wager that will be the gaming companies main area of focus. If I thought there was even a chance of this title coming out on Xbox I would've waited and passed on the PS2 version but who knows it could happen, I just don't think it will.

I haven't heard of any plans either for an X-Box port. If one ever does happen I believe it won't be until sometime in the distant future. Like Hellboy said, they will try to milk it for all its worth as an exclusive first.

i have also had many problems with my PS1. it skipped every time o played crash bandicoot 3. now i have a gamecube and it has yet to do anything bad. it is my prescious!

Thats cool, I'm glad its coming to Xbox. I just wish something could have been announced sooner, but I'm sure this was all part of Rockstar's master plan so they could get gaming geeks such as myself to double dip and give Sony 2 months of making everyone believe this installment was going to be an exclusive. :greedy:

Well thats great to hear!!! I also found out that Sony will fix my Crapstation, I mean Playstation for free.
