Columbia Tristar Home Entertainment has officially announced Batman and Robin: The Serial Collection which includes fifteen action-packed episodes of one of the most thrilling adventure serials of yesteryear. This action adventure was originally shown in movie theaters in 1949, one chapter at a time, in weekly installments. This two-disc set will be available to own from the 22nd March, and should be priced at around $29.95. I'm afraid the only extra material for this one appears to be some preview trailers. However, the advertisement we have also promises that the episodes will receive high-definition audio treatment. We've attached the official region one artwork below, along with a couple of menu shots:

Those pics make the actual product look better than it actually is.
