Every now and then Ebay makes me REALLY happy! Case in point:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5949049741&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT

Yep, I bid on this auction about 2 hours before it ended. Thinking nothing of it, I bid kinda low and didn't expect to win. Imagine my surprise when I realized that I won the entire set of Wal-Mart Commemorative packs for just $10.00!!! Well $19.14 with shipping. :D

I was so disappointed that I was out of the country when these came out and figured I would have to pay big $$$ to get them on the secondary market, and here I end up getting them below retail!

It appears the force was with me, perhaps it was a touch of the dark side...

That's the type of stuff that I'm always looking for. I've become something of an Ebay wh**e lately and I've actually been looking for these packs for a cheap price.

I've been thinking of starting a thread for people to post there great buys or a good deal that they think others may want to bid on but.......

BTW, that's quite an original ebay name.:p

Yeah, I try to use the same online identity where ever I go, RS, POTF2 and Ebay, that way people know who I am and what my rep is, anyway.

If you like that auction you should see the micro machines I just let go for cheap:

I'm making room for other stuff Koto, Gentle Giants, OT army building, etc. I usually start my bids at $1.00 with no reserve. I have a lot more stuff to post tomorrow mostly loose figs. and a few carded doubles. I try to use the stuff for trade bait, but most of what I have is played out and what I am looking for is slightly harder to find stuff. This way I can sell it off and buy what I need.

A few weeks ago I posted a bunch of Clone Troopers for trade and only got 1 reply, so I sold the rest on Ebay, same set up, $1.00 opening, no reserve.

I made a thread dedicated to ebay purchases a while ago, it should be in the Other Non Star Wars toys section. I havent won anything in a while so its been collecting dust for some time, but anybody feel free to dig it back up.

Guys, I have a question for you. I have a few MOMC vintage figures, but nothing I would call a collection. Do you guys think that after SW dies down in 2-3 years it would be a better time to collect carded vintage figures?

Right now I'm not trying to get all of the figures I'm only trying to get some of them at a cheap price. I won't go over $30 on any one ROTJ figure and as you can see from an earlier post I spent $40 on an ESB figure only because I saw they usually go for around $100. I myself can't wait until interest dies down so I can make a killin' on the vintage.
