My Target has just cut the price of POTC and Preview figures from 6.99 to 5.94. Keep an eye out in your area.

Hmm, I wonder if this means the ROTS figures will be that price. If so then that is much better, I won't only have to get the figures at Wal-Mart. A 6 cent price difference on each figure I can handle; a $1.11 I can't.

Yeah, those $6.99 prices really drained my wallet. And what really got me is that I bought all except R4-G9 at Target, then travelled across town to Wal-Mart to get him, and they were cheaper. So if this price cut is true for all Targets, it'll save me money not only on the figs, but also gas. :greedy: :greedy:

I'm sorry, I can't give Target any more of my money mostly because Wal-Mart has slowly gotten my respect and wallet back. :p

I hardly ever go into Target. One resaon is they dont have lay-a-way. If they did, they would get my business more. I usually find all at WM, if not I trade for it.

I hate my target cause they never restock stuff, they hhave it, but they just dont put it out, and i know it.

I love Target. They seem to get the latest stuff in earlier than anywhere else. The only downside is that now their prices are higher than Walmarts. I didn't mind it when it was only .20, but $1.00 adds up. BTW, I was at a Target tonight and they still had theirs marked at $6.99 :(

I wouldn't mind Tarjay if they started to clearance like Wal-Mart does, saw 2 LEGO Falcon's for 99 bucks a pop still....

I hope Walmart drops their price by a dollar just to one up Target.

That would be great Ric, we can only hope

Edit: This was posted in the VA/MD/DC thread...

By the way, I got him to manually punch in the UPC (which I had written down) for ROTS Collection 1 Obi-wan and ROTS Collection 2 Battle Droid. They were both in the computer, but not in stock. But get this: the price came up $5.99. Not sure if that's news to anyone, but it made me happy. Heck of a lot better than $6.99.

This is great news even if Target isn't your favorite store. Hopefully Toys R Us will wise up too. I love target in my area. Not only are they more dependable for me but they are closer too.

Well, don't everyone get all excited at once - I checked several stores in the Los Angeles area and the price still remains the same $6.99 for basic Star Wars E3 figures. Maybe it's a local thing?
