I was hoping my until now useless Hyperspace account might come in handy. I'd still like to go and see Robots though just to see it on the big screen. Thanks for the heads up.

You DO realise this is in the wrong section and will get moved...

This will probably get merged with one of the other 19 threads about the theatrical trailer, but oh well. Hopefully they'll show it right at the beginning of the show, or right at the end, because I don't want to waste my time watching that stupid show! Too bad they couldn't have it online before TV . . . still, I'm anxiously waiting!

It's so nice to fast forward through commercials. It's funny how short a 30 minute show really is. it's more like 20.

It makes the O.C. 45 minutes instead ogf 60. And just getting ot that one commercial will be even sweeter, since i can FF through 50 minutes of bunk.

Yes, my friends. At 8 PM on Thursday March 10, during "The O.C.", the trailer for ROTS will be shown on Fox. This is the same thing that happened with the final AOTC trailer back in 2002. So mark your calendars. :D

Instead of sitting through The O.C. I'll probably just wait until 9 and watch it on Hyperspace. I wish they would've put an approximate time that it would show.

yeah....sucks when they do this thing during something you don't watch. they should have done it during survivor or just have it on hyperspace and that's it.

I'll just have it on in the other room. That way I can hear it, but play PS2 or something. That way I can still stick to the fact that I've never watched The O.C.! :D

It'll likely be at the front of the show, or right after. Didn't they do that with "Malcolm in the Middle" three years ago? I'm thinking the beginning. Anyway, maybe I'll keep the TV on and watch when the trailer comes on.

Starwars.com has a commercial for the OC and the trailer. I'm downloading it right now. It's the trailer's trailer! :D

EDIT: It's short and doesn't show a lot but it's still cool. Time for a new avatar. :D

I have to watch the whole thing because I plan on recording the trailer. I just hope it doesn't end up like on that "South Park" episode where the boys are trying to see the trailer for the new Terrence and Phillip movie on TV, but it doesn't show up till the last minute. :D

I have to sit through the "O.C" for the trailer. The things I do for Star Wars :crazed:

Personally, they should have put it on between "The Simpsons" and "Family Guy" when all the geeks are watching FOX anyways.

I planned(kinda) on seeing Robots. I didn't plan on this...but I will watch the OC.
It would be nice if the 9 PM EST I'm seeing on the internet is true, then I'll just tune in for the trailer. No offense meant to any OC fans here, the soundtracks are great(Interpol's "The Specialist" is a killer out-of-print track for us music geeks), but I really just want to see the trailer at this point.

I'm still going to go see Robots possibly, but I'm just going to watch it on Fox because I don't subscribe to Hyperspace.

For anyone(like myself) who hasn't see this yet: Trailer TV Ad (http://www.starwars.com/episode-iii/release/trailer/theocspot.html)

Is it me, or does the opening shot of Courscant look like complete carnage around the Senate hall?
Yoda looks REALLY good/cool! the shot of Anakiin surrounded by lava walking toward camera was pretty good too!

The shot of Ben falling into the lava though didn't look very good, you could totaly tell it was CG/and or a bad comp job! And yes I know he doesn't actually "enter" the lava, but it looks like he could have! ;)

Thanks! First time I've seen it. Looks like a cloaked Jedi (possibly Anakin)??? cuts down a few people with his lightsaber. Love the Wookie, looking like he was hanging on to something.

Putting the trailer in the middle of the O.C., is like mixing water and oil!!
I doubt any of the chicks on that show would be caught dead at a SW convention or a movie for that matter.:D

It's the exact same thing the other way, too! They should've put this with something better. But I'll still watch, maybe with it on mute except for the commercials. Like I said, hopefully they'll show it beforehand, like they did with Malcolm in the Middle for AOTC.

Ohhhhh.

What I'm tryin' to figure out is exactly where Windows XP stores the temp file for Quicktime files. When I click on "play trailer" in Hyperspace, a new HTML window opens which has the Quicktime window imbedded inside it. It "downloads" the file somewhere in the computer where it sits until I close the window (or restart the computer...I don't know exactly when the temp file vanishes.) Anyway, does anybody know where these files are buried? The download info says otsedom_48_dl.mov but a search on the C drive uncovers nothing at all.
