I know it's probably been asked before, but where can I see the origional trailers. Is it true that on the Return Of The Jedi Trailer Luke has a blue Lightsaber?

Jek, this link has been posted before too. But this is a link straight to the trailers hosted by T-Bone Fender.

BTW, is it true about the blue lightsaber?

Yes, it is true. The teaser trailer for ROTJ had Luke using a blue lightsaber, this was why the toy came out with a blue saber before it was corrected to green.

All of the trailers are on the ROTJ DVD. You can find it on ebay pretty easily.

Do you mean VCD? There's a difference.

No I'm talking about the ROTJ DVD, my brother bought it on ebay and it is a full-fledged DVD (non-special edition even). I think it was originally released in Japan; but you can turn off the Japanese subtitles so the movie plays normally. The only problem with it is the picture quality is not up to the normal DVD standards; but trust me it's not a VCD. Go to ebay and you'll find the entire trilogy easily.

Here's a picture of the ROTJ disc, notice the little DVD logo on the right side of the disc.

And the ESB DVD (you can buy the entire set on ebay for around $50-$60):

Yeah, must be japanese(sp?). But what I don't get is why they would release the Special Edition on VCD instead of DVD.

What are some of the extra features on the DVD if any?

The Special Editions are available on DVD also. They are either from Japan or Hong Kong.

As for special features, you get pretty much nothing but the trailers. No commentary or documentaries.:(

Like I said though, the quality is really not there, they look like VHS copies of the film transfered onto DVD. Oh well, they're all we've got for now.:frus:
