Amazing! Finally I could see your movie.....it didn't work with me because I didn't seem to own the right players to watch this clip.
May I ask what programs you used for it?
After Effect?
What camera are you working with?

I'm not involved in this movie making. Friends of mine are. I asked them what tools have been used to make it. I will post an update as soon as I have the answer. Or maybe Ozzel will post it himself.

It works with the Xvid (DivX) codec (open source MPEG4). You can download it here (370ko) : http://www.download.com/3120-20_4-0.html?qt=xvid+codec&tg=dl-2001
It's included in the latest DivX player (also downloadable on the same page).

It's a QuickTime movie and it's highly recommended to download the latest version of the QuickTime player. QuickTime 6.5.2 : http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/standalone/

You can see cool pics of the making-of here : http://cdt.hom.bz/ (Informations => Historique).

Bloody Brilliant!!

Tell your friends that they are very talented - will be keeping it on my hard drive for a long time.

Nice to see people still enthusiastic about the AF line after so many years of near drought.

Well done

Truly inspiring and wonderful. I wish George Lucas would see it and hire all people involved to work at Skywalker Ranch or pay them handsomely to work in Europe.

Amazing! :)
And very professional! :stupid:

I found interesting the AT-AT landing system.
Space figths with laser beams and explosions are terrific.
They were even able to hide very well the buttons on the top of the Collector Fleet Star Destroyer (which definitely ruins the look of the model).

The best of all is that "revenge is only starting", so we may see other chapters in the future. ;) It would be wonderful. :D

Great job. :classic:

Excellent little fan film, enjoyed that.

The pics on your site of the new series of model kits are great. Especially the Republic Star Destroyer, which looks great. Pity that I'm no good with model kits and would never be able to get it as good looking as something like a Star Trek ship by Art Asylum. The snap kit fighters look great though too, will probably get some of this stuff and experiment to try and get it looking good, its a shame they didn't go down the Bandai route and offer it all pre-painted.

I downloaded it yesterday afternoon and watched it with a freidn of mine. It is really AWSOME!!!! Thanks for doing this for the AF fans!!! :)

Off topic but the Revell kits will be snap kits (no glue except the Venator cruiser) and could be pre-painted. I've seen some of the last Revell snaps in a store of my 'hood and the aircrafts and helicopters are pre-painted. I'm not sure the SW kits will be but it's a possibility. The cruiser is a classic kit wich needs assembly, paint and glue (22 inches !).

this reminds me, anyone here happen to know if i need to get the cw anim series under me belt afore seeing e3? is it like Animatrix, i.e. seeing it b4 Reloaded helps context but isn't essential to it?
