My apologies if this has been addressed somewhere in the billions of threads here in the ROTS toy forum. :)

I saw a (presumably WM exclusive) reproduction of the old Vader head carrying case with pack-in Anakin and Clonetrooper figures. I couldn't tell for certain, but does anyone know if these are unique figures or just duplicates of existing (or forthcoming but currently unreleased) figures?

I saw that, too. Sadly I didn't look at it long enough. I'd like to know if the figs are original at all, though...

Maybe later tonight or tomorrow I will spend longer in WM.

Pretty sure that the Anakin is the same as #2 from the Ep3 line, and the clone is actually the Super-Articulated Ep2 figure.

The Clone and Anakin are both EP3 basic figs, just packed with the Vader case. The Clone is definetely not from EP2, as its the new EP3 looking Clone.

I had one of these ready to buy, but ended up passing on it. I think they want $30 for it.

What? I bought this today, since I was ecstatic to see the AOTC-style Clone Wars super poseable clone trooper for sale. For me, anyway, it's Anakin (Lightsaber Attack) from the ROTS line and the Clone Trooper from the Clone Wars line. Unfortunately neither of the figures come with weapons.

It costs around $21. :)

Maybe it's different in the midwest, but I've been to two Connecticut Wal-Marts, and they definitely have the ROTS Anakin and AOTC SA Clone.

It is the Clone Wars Super Posable Clone Trooper.

Yeah, I keep forgetting that wasn't an AOTC figure, but from the non-animated Clone Wars line.

Does anyone know if there's a picture of this in the database? I can't find one, but maybe I'm not looking in the right place.

Has anyone opened their vader case? I am curious if the figure name stickers show the Revenge line of characters. The photo on the back of the box shows the same graphic as the OTC case. It would be pretty lame if the stickers inside were from the OTC and not the Revenge line, that is available now.

The figures are Anakin Skywalker (III - #2) and the super-articulated Clonetrooper from Wave 3 of the movie-style Clone Wars line.

Uh yeah, it's officially lame. The stickers are OTC #1- 38. Might I suggest: ROTC Labels (http://www.advizia.com/brother/modelDetail.asp?PkgID=383859&User=ptouch&Rnd=667) . :)

So the stickers just have the #'s or do they have the names too?

This is horrid. I bought the case for my son at Christmas. Now they release it again. The only reason to buy it is to get an SA clone. But at 20 bucks a pop, might as well hit ebay.

This was an impulse buy for me. Wasn't planning on getting one but my buddy did and I caved in to the dark side.

How many figures does it fit ?

It's both numbers and names. Quite lame, releasing those stickers when none of those figures are available anymore.

Were there supposed to be weapons for these figures? There weren't any spaces for them in their bubbles, and they weren't in the case. It's useless having Anakin without his extra lightsaber-hand, he just looks like he's slapping someone when you squeeze his legs. :D My clone is using the extra blaster that came with the ROTS one for now, but I really would've liked to have accessories for these.

I guesss I was wrong. I surely thought it was the ROTS Clone.

I bought the OTC Darth and C3PO versions for my kids at Christmas. Glad I did, 'cause the simple fact that the new ones come with weaponless figures and OTC labels makes me want to Force Choke someone...

I looked at the Anakin very hard and thought the right hand was open and could not hold a saber making him different from the #2 figure. I will double check when I get home and post pics if I can.

The standard carded Anakin has an extra hand packed in the bubble. The extra hand is an open hand which makes the Vader case figure a regular repacked figure. Search some of the sites for the images and see for yourself.

Well, this sounds pretty lame. I won't worry about not being able to find one, then.

Well crap. I guess it won't kill me. I'll just keep the one in my starfighter and I can always use another clone.
