I don't know what to think of this auction for the Custom Aayla Secura.

I dunno.... The Euro beach look is in, but it looks like she needs some work on that six-pack.... Hit the Keg a time to many? Now the question is what would Shaft...er Windu do?

And how exactly does this guy know what color the nipples are? I mean are they darker blue, are there 2 or 3 per breast?

Tee hee- yeah, a bit of a "potato sack" there at the midriff...

And somehow really funny, the current bidder is named "notyetajedi".... I imagine he's looking to "graduate" with this purchase :beard:

LMAO too funny

That would be me. Yep, you heard it here, I placed a bid on that figure. I also bought the Crispy Owen and Beru figures on eBay, that someone here on SSG made. I like unusual figures. I even had a couple made of myself (fully clothed) in Armor, and in my Tusken guise.

Seeing as it's someone on the boards buying it I'll reserve the pervert comments for myself.;)

I met BF at a Convention (Tusken Outfit @ WW 2003 Chi Town) and he was very nice guy (my wife thought so too, and she is married to me no less)....oh yes...Imperial Officer hat too.......I can see him owning the Aayla....

;-)

I only do so, because I'm single. I'm sure if I was dating or happily married I wouldn't even think of purchasing this. Like I said, I do like unusual figures. I did get to have my picture taken with Amy Allen a year or so ago, at the convention where I met Mr. Val Da Car.

You wouldn't have been able to hear me if I had the Tusken mask on. I was barking out orders/instructions to the folks waiting in line to get the silver Fett at Wizard World in Chicago.

Hey, when I signed up for my eBay name, I was still dressing as an Episode I Jedi, and a costume shop one at that. Seeing as I couldn't even swing a lightsaber correctly I went with well, you know.

It's all good though!

Probably won't be long until we see someone do the samething to a ROTS Padme figure.

I was given a second chance on this one. Either the party that won, didn't pay, or the person selling this had an extra one. I paid my highest bid, which was less than the winner paid (or didn't pay).

I've seen countless custom Leias and Padmés done in the same fashion, for sell on eBay. Always with those damn black bars. :D

Speak of the devil . . .

And there's some other Leias and Padmés on some, er, interesting cardbacks. Just type in "custom Star Wars" and enjoy. :D

I will, but only privately, I don't want to get kicked off of SSG for posting something that some might find offensive. I also have to see if this person comes through with the item.

Nope, got it today, It looks like they just filled in the area between her neck and her tank top with some putty, then painted it over with blue, and did a real bad job painting well, you know on her you know wheres, they are jost two darker blue dots, and they are not even. They also painted her legs blue, but didn't bother to sand down the pants, I think the thing that upset me the most was the lack of care opening the package to customize the figure. The back of the package looks like they ripped the tape open, tearing up the package back, instead of carefully slicing the tape away to protect the print on the card back. Very dissapointed, especially for what I paid. I could have done a better job than this person did.

He did at least ship it in a sturdy box. :ermm:

Looks like it's time for either some neutral or negative feedback then frett.

bobafrett
05-25-2005, 11:14 PM
Well, i will have to go back and read the auction again, and see if he promised a quality job on the custom ;) . Also, if I post a negative, he/she/they might retailiate with negative feedback, of which to date, I have none.

I have considered pulling ol' Aalya out and attempt to do some custom work on her myself.

You should post a pic if you can bad card cut, non sanding ect. I find poor workmanship funny. It says much about other aspects of the creators' life. lol

I will certianly try, not tonight though, as it is past my bedtime.

I told you, I can't post it here. Besides I have been busy with my mom's passing, and trying to get letters sent to get donations for the Real For Life event I will be attending and participating in at the end of June. I took an extra day off of work to get stuff situated here. When I have the chance I will get a picture of it, but it is way at the bottom of the list of things to do.

I can host it for you and then everyone can PM me to reduce any potential issues....maybe..
