I like the look of this...at least it'll give us a chance to have a cool looking turbo tank.

When is this expected to start hitting so I can let my out-of-state friends with targets near them to start hunting for me?

I was trying to avoid this line. At C3 I saw the first two playsets and started to consider getting them. Now as I look at the Turbo Tank set, I can no longer fight it....GOTTA HAVE IT!!! The 3 playsets rock. This is aslo the only way we will see Tantive 4, Turbo Tank, and the Invisible Hand unless they come to us as Titanium series ships.

I have zero interest in the playset aspect of these sets, but like Abell said, this is the only way we are going to get these vehicles. I would pass on the Tantive IV as I have the electronic version from the previous lines already, but it comes with the Emperor's Shuttle so that does it for me...gotta have the Turbo Tank and The Invisible Hand, though.

I just wish they would come out with a Venator-class Star Destroyer in this scale.

What I really want are some micro machines back, but I'll take the griping to the MM boards. :)

Man, this movie is where the Action Fleet line would have THRIVED!

I know I'll be getting the three sets, but man, I'd have bought up alot of the Action Fleet ships had they been made.

Imagine these: (All action fleet of course)
Venator-class Republic Star Destroyer (see link below)

Banking Clan Communications Frigate (see link below)
http://www.starwars.com/meta/rd/expand/expand.html?world=databank&img=/databank/starship/bankingclanfrigate/img/eu_bg.jpg&width=undefined&height=undefined&import=undefined
Commerce Guild Recusant-class Light destroyer (see link below)

Tantive IV in Blue color variation as seen in ROTS
Trade Federation Battleship This is the one seen in all of the prequels-the donut shaped one
Invisible Hand Trade Federation Providence-class Carrier/destroyer (see link below)

They could have released them in two wave of three ships each.
And you know there would have been PLENTY of buyers!!!
Four of them are Fleet builders alone!!!

Okay, sorry, got a bit excited there. Yes, I'll be getting the Turbo Tank Playset. Not for the playset, but for the tank. Same goes for the Two ships as well.

is this (http://www.sirstevesguide.com/news/?m=show&id=31503) what you guys tawkin bout?
if so, do enclosed speeder & wookieflyer (http://photos.sirstevesguide.com/showphoto.php?photo=12436&cat=3893) look to be analogous additions to our mm ship collections, re size and detailing?
if so, an ambivalent prospect imo in that while the availability of Any such analogous additions is nice, it'd be annoying to have to wastefully get an unwanted larger toy to procure them. so if anyone'd want to trade em separately, lmk :)

I like the tank, it would have been nicer with a tank interior, not a landscape. But still I want it, together with the other 2 playsets

vtYes, it is the one we are talking about. The other sets' vehicles are more X-ray Fleet scale, so I'm of the belief that these are as well. It just dawned on me right now that the Clone hover-tank-dealy in that photo is facing backwards, another triumph of Hasbro photography. And I don't think I'll be interested in trading these, especially since I'm not sure I'll be getting 'em. ;)

See the attached screencaps. It's obvious the playsets are inspired by the Clone Wars cartoon and not by the movie vehicles. Too much "toys" for me. And for the Clone Swampspeeder and Wookie flyer, keep in mind they will be released in the die-cast metal Titanium line (same molds), no need to buy the Turbo tank for that.

I know these just came out, but has anyone picked one up yet? I went to my Target today and they had the Tantive IV & The Invisible Hand - the two I am most interested in. I was ready to buy the Tantive IV, but the more I looked at it, the more crappy it just seemed to me. Obi-Wan's tunic is brown for some reason and Anakin has a green lightsaber (in both sets). Outside of the figures looking so cheap, everything else seems pretty nice. The vehicles look good and the playsets seem decent. Just wanted to know if they're worth the $21.

Who am I kidding? I'll probably get the things anyway!:crazed:

I have only seen the the first two Micro Machine Playsets. The Turbo Tank is not out yet.

I picked up the Separatist Cruiser last weekend. The playset aspect is not impressive at all, and I don't think I will ever have this thing opened. The figures are colored wrong (Anakin has a green saber and Grievous has a red and blue one, and Palpatine is in his red cloak a la the Deluxe Quick-Change Palpatine), the Vulture Droid is colored wrong...

The cruiser itself lacks a lot in detail. I would have liked to have seen a sticker or something on the bridge to clearly identify it as such. The spire on the spine of the ship rocks back and forth and therefore tends to lean back at a slight angle. I had to take a piece of masking tape and lay it behind the tower to prevent backwards movement in order to get it to stand up straight.

The ship does not close up terribly well, either, with small spaces in the centerline if you look down on it from above.

I bought this because it is the only representation of a Separatist Cruiser we are going to get, I am afraid, but it definately leaves a lot to be desired.

I am going to be looking at the upcoming Turbo Tank a lot more critically now, to see if the rear bridge is constructed properly and the overall shape of the tank is done correctly.
