Pinewood Derby and Star Wars cars

Sorry Ron, but I thought I'd start a more general thread for these. :)

Here's a pic of my son's "Yoda" car which will race in about an hour from now. I'll get more pictures up later on.

Sweet Stilla! I remember being in the scouts, and my dad took over designing my brother and my pinewood derby cars. He would add the weights, had a scale to weigh them so we wouldn't have to try to get the cars down to race weight the night of the event. I wish I had pictures of them, but my parents didn't photograph everything we did. This was of course pre Star Wars

Yeah, he received a lot of compliments. He thought it up. I just helped with the power tools. :)

Well, Yoda isn't going to be a racecar driver anytime soon :D , but we'll find out the results of the design competition next week.
