$50 huh? No thanks. :(

Thats really not that bad considering you get the Silver Vader & the Red Royal Guard. That's $5.55 a figure, either $0.31 more or $0.29 less a figure, depending on which WM you visit.

It is a better price than Target has for figs right now.

but as usual with KB's "A day late and a dollar short" Now, if they would have done this, oh about a month or two ago, then maybe they would have had a deal.

Since I'm an opener and no longer a completist, this is just another craptacular thing to avoid.

Sorry KB's but you've got to offer up these kind of goods much sooner than this if you're going to be profitable.

Yeah, I'm kind of on the fence on this one. Fifty bucks is kind of steep for one Silver Vader (I'm assuming everyone here has all the other figs).

I only have Palpatine, Dooku, and Organa.

Not a bad looking piece, but honestly we would be paying the $50 for just the silver Vader, assuming that most of us already have the other 8 figs (or passed on some).
Like Jedi Master Sal noted, too little and way too late.

Uhh . . . this is just stupid. Maybe I'd buy if it came with the red guard, blue guard, #6 Clone, #41 Clone, battle droid, SBD, Clone pilot, AT-TE Tank Gunner, and a Wookiee warrior, but since it doesn't, then I think I'll pass. This isn't even the "real" silver Vader anyway.

I like the look of it. The packaging is bright and the figures they put in it aren't really that bad. The price point really surprises me though for KB as it is pretty much like selling the figures for a normal price.

Definitely in the "too late" category. Luminara barely appears in the film, so it's not like I can justify getting a second one for another scene or something.

It looks nice, but that's a silver Vader I can skip. (Is that the gimmicky Saga figure with some spray paint?)

What's up with the Redrobe's gun?

Hmm -
Looks like they just threw a bunch of figures together...
$50?
Reason 453 why KB toy stores keep closing across the country.

Smart folks learn from their mistakes.

I like the idea, i think it's a great concept, but like most have already said, too little, too late. Imean this won't come out till Sept?? And at a 50 dollar price point?? By that time, the figures that are rare won't be anymore. What a disappointment.

I agree, I have em all, they could have packed different figs in it. An army building pack would have been great, but this is poodoo

I am not impressed either. $50 is to much to pay for one silver Vader. It is times like these I am glad I passed on all that silver junk.

What's poodoo is that Red Guards are going in this set when most of us didn't get ample chances to get them off pegs! I still only have one...

That, plus the silver Vader is exactly how they're hoping to lure suckers into buying this set. I may eventually buy one for my son....

when they're stacked up in the front of the store at a $19.99 clearance price! :D

Yep, this thing has "CLEARANCE" written all over it already... :stupid:

This is great for me as I don't have any of them in this set. It will go on sale and I will buy it then. Forget about paying $50. Plus, it should take up less space than 9 carded figures. I can't wait for them to put the 4 packs out for $10 too! Don't complain if you don't have patience to wait for the sales and are a completist not willing to take a chance down the road. I'm a chisler and will probably get this for $30 on clearance. I take my chances and take what the sales give me. The truth is this way my fiance' won't nag me for spending the money.

I too don't have any of the figures in that set, so I might just get this. But the real question is whether or not they come with their respective bases. If not, then it really isn't worth the $50.

Whoever decided to pack in those figures needs to be sacked. Most of these are warming pegs especially Luminara, Bail, Kit and Ki. I will probably try and get this on clearance. The set would have been so much better if they would have swapped out two of those figures for Clone trooper, clone commander, clone pilot, AT-TE gunner, battle droid, destroyer droid, super battle droid, both wookie warriors, or even another obi and anikan. So pretty much anyone other than Mon Mothma. Boneheads!

That looks like a silver painted Hoth Vader figure from OTC. Does anyone know which saga Vader that is? I am interested. (No, of course I wouldn't buy this crappy set).

I think the odds of them coming up with another new Silver Vader so close on the heels of the TRU one from last year are pretty slim. Are we sure that we haven't seen this Vader in silver before?

After looking at it again, I am pretty sure that it is the Saga Bespin Duel figure. The cape looks like it and the arm is hinged like the Bespin figure because of the action feature. Did we really need another Darth Vader silver figure? If they really wanted to come up with a cheap way to get us to bite on this set they should have included a Holo Nute or something that they would just have to dig up the mold and cast it clear blue plastic. Heck, because of ROTS, they could have done a spectral Hayden from ROTJ and we would have something to get this for.

Poor KB. I hear their next "Exclusive" is a balloon full of George Lucas' hot air. :dis:
