just picked up the new issue of Lee Toy Review in which they had a pic of the new Jedi vs Sith Set and even though the pic is small it looks like it could have potential.
The figures look to be all new sculpts with the exception of Yoda, and they look as if they are almost the same quality as the Clone wars non animated line. The Anakin looks to be a version of the ripped tunic battle Assaj figure, Obi Wan looks like a mix between the outlander bar Kenobi and the clone wars one with snap on clone armor.
All in All looks to be a set that might be interesting afterall. :)

Are there any online pics to view from? Is this going to be at a ridiculous price like the 9 pack from KB? I dunno what they're thinking with that.

This set is one the new Battlepacks line. There was a discussion about the Empire vs. Rebellion and Jedi vs. Sith here:

yep ya know, once I saw a closer pic (courtesy entertainment earth) I can safely retract my previous statement...not all rehash...so pardon me, it was a simple mistake. :)

No worries, just that i thought they were all old figures as well and i had decided to pass on these. Not this one though, i will be picking it up.

I'm wondering why they call this a "Jedi vs. Sith" pack...

Asajj Ventress wasn't actually a Sith. She was a Jedi who was cast out and was taught the dark arts by Count Dooku, but never actually held the title "Sith". See http://www.geocities.com/kswdb1/char_asajj1

..and General Grievous a Sith?! I don't think so!

I like how the armor is removable on the Obi-Wan. It may allow for it to fit on an animated CW figure and if not it will make it tons easier to customize it to fit.

As for the Asajj and GG being Sith. It's just an excuse to make another GG. I'm surprised they didn't put Aurra Sing in there or give Boba Fett a lightsaber and call it good.
