This film is a British classic from the director of the rather wonderful Dog Soldiers and I saw it at the cinema last night.

It is so nice to be so well manipulated by a director. The jump-out-your-seat shock moments were not hackneyed clichéd techniques and although it has it’s daft moments, I really enjoyed the film for its tense, claustrophobic and visceral action.

I won’t say anything to spoil the film, but if you are planning on seeing this, please save yourself the disappointment of spoilers and avoid any reviews or synopses which may give away the plot. When more people have seen it I don’t mind posting more about the film’s content, but not yet. Suffice it to say, if you like horror, suspense, claustrophobia and fear of heights (and a jolly good female cast) , this is the flick for you.
