Anybody remember Galactica 80? It was the continuation of Battlestar Galactica only the fleet finally made it to our solar system. Watch the hijinx ensue.

So what about a like-minded Star Wars television show where heroes from this galaxy far far away came here to Earth? The possibilities are no doubt cheesy as all get out, but what kinds of things could happen if our worlds collided?

I just hope they don't have flying motorcycles and Jedi Super-Scouts with psionic abilities like they did in THAT show! Just even trying to picture it makes me tremble with fear!

Of course, Star Wars happened a long time ago in a galaxy far far away so it was probably millenia before humans had evolved on Earth. We are still primitives in our corner of the universe.

"Worst idea ever!" - Comic Book Guy

That is even more insane then the E 2 'script' I read that had Darth Maul still being alive cruising around in a hover chair and a young Hon Solo tinkering on a swoop bike.

I've thought about an idea like this before. Perhaps a Jedi made his way to our planet and was stranded here. He is a strange old hermit that lives in a cabin in the woods. One day he comes across a child lost in the woods and senses that he may be Force sensitive. Perhaps he is actually able to train him because the boy's family was killed on this camping trip (perhaps drowned while canoeing or rafting, mauled by a bear, or took a wrong turn and fell off a cliff) and the boy is believed to be dead too. The old Jedi knows that the Sith/Empire will eventually find their way to Earth, and must help unite Earth so that they will be able to withstand an invasion.

Or, maybe Star Wars IS real. Maybe Lucas discovered some Jedi relics on a visit to the Redwood forests when he was young. Perhaps one of the relics was a holocron containing The Journal of the Whills.

This idea has already been realized.
The Muppet Show with Luke, his cousin Mark, Chewie, Artoo, and Threepio.
Also Artoo and Threepio were on Sesame Street and Artoo fell in love with a fire hydrant.
