I don't know if anybody else has already said this, if they have I'm sorry... Last night I was watching Monty Python and the Holy Grail and I noticed a bit of a connection between ROTS and Monty Python. Its early in the movie when Arthur is trying to cross the bridge but the Black Knight won't let him. As I'm sure everybody know's the Black Knight gets his arms and legs chopped off. While watching I couldn't help but think about the Obi-Wan vs. Anakin fight. About the only thing in ROTS that wasn't in Holy Grail was Anakin telling Obi-Wan that "tis only a flesh wound!"

I thought you were gonna say that both movies were giant pieces of crap.

I'm just kidding. I liked RotS.

And not Holy Grail? For shame!

I believe that there was actually an ad for some figure website that had Obi-Wan cutting Darth Maul in half, with him to retort with that same quote. :D

Except for the guys prancing with the coconuts, not really. I don't know. Maybe I just don't "get it". I'm certainley not flaming it, it just doesn't strike me as all that funny.

And don't call me Shirley. :D

Grail definitely has some good parts to it but overall I think it's overrated.

For me, Holy Grail is a movie of great moments. I don't think I've ever watched the entire thing in 1 sitting.

I love the movie, but it is definately something you can't watch over and over. It starts to get less and less funnier.

You know, I was quoting the Holy Grail as we were walking out of the theater after seeing ROTS.

On second thought, let's not go to Mustafar.

It is a silly place.

God, Monty Python was crap!

Am I the only person in the world that thinks it is just slapstick!? Or am I just not "clever" enough to understand it?

No, you're not alone in that boat. Monty Python is what the jerk working at Blockbuster would reccomend if you would only take the time to ask instead of rushing in a grabbing a POS movie like, say, "Star Wars" or something.

I didn't really start this thread to debate in committee if Holy Grail is a good movie or not ;) rather the parallels between the Obi/Anakin and Arthur/Black Knight sword fights. :p
