After a long hiatus, I am back, and I have a question. I just picked up the Jedi vs. Sith and the Jedi vs. Separatists sets. Are the figures that are included in these sets re-packs? The only thing that appears new is Obi-Wan's armor. Can anyone help me?

Oy! That's me!

I saw the Separatist Battlepack last night and it looks much better in person than online. Even though three out of the five figures have stupid buttons sticking outta their butts, I'm gonna get this one.

The one question I wanna know is why does the Sith pack include Asajj and Grievous, while the seperatist includes Maul? Is that not backwards?

KH, the inclusion of asajj and grievous isn't the only odd thing about the sith pack. what bothers me the most is that it includes stormtrooper armor.

As far as I can tell, it has clone trooper armor, but the box incorrectly says it has stormtrooper armor. Or did they actually include the wrong armor?

it's definitely clonetrooper armor. it's hasbro's way of giving us obi in armor from the cartoons. includes a lance for him and has his robe molded onto the chest piece.

It's Clone armor. Very, very crappy looking armor but Clone armor nonetheless.

Anyone notice besides me that the "General Veers" guy on the back of the Assault on Hoth is actually portrayed with a photo of the Vintage AT-AT Commander. Don't believe me? take a close look at it. What's up with that?

WOW! You're right. What is up with that? Somebody at HASBRO has been playing with their vintage toys again and got them mixed up.

No, they just know that the vintage is a superior sculpt to that crap they stuck in there

I felt quite the opposite- this newer figure seems way more detailed with better sculpting.

what possesed them to pull out figures from 1997? UGH

Anything pre-1999 needs to remain in the vault for all time.

I mean, they put one of the more-accurate Saga snowtroopers in the pack with two of those ridiculous POTF2 versions? What the ----? LAME

OK, so in a nutshell, the jedi vs sith has new guys in it...so I got that one.

Jedi vs sepratists is not REALLY a repack because they flip flopped heads and bodies...Well I am no sucker and thus am passing.

Everyhing else looks like pure repacks, so I will pass on all those as well.

The Temple assault is repiants of the #6 trooper with the 501(blue) clones. The Target exclusive clones are repaints as well.

Well, thank you goes to Slicker for helping me out and to JabbaJohnL for the original post. So far, I've managed to pick up:

Jedi vs. Sith (keeper - love that armor)
Jedi vs. Separatists (not sure - head swaps do make a new figure, right?)
Jedi Temple Assault (DEFINITE keeper - love them blue Clonetroopers)
Imperial Throne Room (taking back - have them all already opened)
Assault On Hoth (not sure - have them all already opened, but it is a nice army builder set)

Now I just have to find the Clone Attack On Coruscant. They can keep the Rebel vs. Empire.

Just wanted to share the fact that the Vader in the Imperial Throne room is a mixed figure (removable helmet added to the bespin vader). Here is the comparison shot on rebelscum. I used to be anal enough to pick this up but dwindling funds for this kind of crap has ended that.

Yeah, in L.A. they hit over a month ago- now they're gone. The one to get now is "Attack on Coruscant".

Picked up the Attack set last night at Target and it appears they have it in the system wrong as it was $19.99. The sale price said $22.49 on the sign. They had a bunch of them along with Plo Kloon's starfighter, which looks like it will be quite the shelf warmer.

Havent seen this posted yet. All of the throne room packs ive seen have the wrong imperial dignitary in the pack. He's not the same one pictured on the back. That what everyone else is seeing too? Im not gonna buy it, was just curious.

The Clone Attack on Coruscant clones are NOT repaints of quick-draw #6. They are repaints of the jetpack clones - meaning the waists don't move and the arms don't bend at the elbows.

The leg articulation is passable, but that's it.
