Vader operating room arms

Has the issue of Vader's operating room pose ever been addressed?

In the trailers- they showed Vader being lifted up the table - clearly his arms were up.

In the movie - his arms were down.

Any idea of a reason for the switch?

Minor issue - I know.

I think the reason it was changed was due to complaints and confusion when they were up, the hands were MUCH smaller and clenched so they didn't look like hands that way, they looked like gloved nubs, it looked a little too weird.
