Man was this cool! I really liked this tv-movie and I hope it becomes a series. Although I liked Crusade's original eps (not the TNT-manipulated ones), the feeling and music here was way better than Cru, and unlike B5 and Cru, Rangers was a lot more action - I enjoyed the hell out of it. Even better, I know that if it does get turned into a series, it'll be more than just mindless action.
It wasn't perfect, it wasn't as pure Sci-Fi as Babylon 5, but it was still pretty awesome. Sure, I'd like to see a lot more B5 and Crusade elements drawn out (poor Crusade was killed after 13 eps, I blame TNT and the odd score which didn't grab the general audience at all) but I think this could be a really cool series.

I agree, it was great! Well, what I saw was great. I ended up falling asleep halfway thru it, due to sheer exhaustion... Can't wait til it's on again, I'll have to check my TV schedule for the next airdate.
Hopefully the show is really popular and evolves into that possible series. Oh, and good news for you classic B5 fans. Warner should be releasing some news soon about Babylon 5 season boxsets on DVD, so looks like a good year to be a B5 fan. :)

I'm a big fan of B-5. I recorded it to watch later. Can't wait to sit down a watch this movie. I hope its as good as you said it is.

Over on the sci fi channel's message boards, there is a HUGE battle between those who really liked it and those who thought it was too brainless to be called B5. Luckily, there's a lot of buzz, and some regulars are already resting assured that if the series happens, it'll have twists to put the naysayers at ease (just like B5 itself).

Well I watched it findly and I will say I liked it. The only thing that bother me was the way the ships weapons were fired. I think we could do without all that junk with the burst of lazers coming from her hands and feet. To me that was the lamest thing I have ever see them do on B-5. I guess if they ever fire thier weapons at full power , she would have to change her shorts. Then again I'm not to sure I would want to see that.:D

I stopped watching the second time she did that "karate-laser firing thing" outside of the ship, when they were in the mine field. That was just stupid. So I didn't even bother to finish watching it, it would've been a good show, but I can't get over that stupid karate-laser firing thing.
Bad bad bad bad...

I have a feeling that would be dropped for the series, look at how many things were changed from the B5 pilot "The Gathering" to the series. And it was kinda dopey, but it made sense since it was a small Minbari ship (when you look at the Minbari capital ship that Delenn and Sheridan commanded the alliance fleet from, it kinda feels the same, except they're giving orders instead of kicking and punching ;)).
