Has anyone figured out which packaging variation is the shorter run, the neutral pose or the walking pose?

I think that the standing pose is going to be the shorter run. As of now it has an earlier date stamp (53042) than the walking pose (53251). Since the wave is so new we can only assume... and see what happens.

The version I have is the standing pose; I guess I will pick up the walking version if I see it.

Crap! Those date stamps are a pretty good indicator. That means I'll have to be extra dilligent looking for the neutral pose. I know it'll turn up, though.

I personally would rather have the walking pose. It's more action oriented and looks 10x better than the one where he's simply displayed in the packaging.

Does anyone have pics of the 2?

This just ended not too long ago on ebay. Vader (http://cgi.ebay.com/Star-Wars-Saga-2006-13-Darth-Vader-w-Dooku-Holo_W0QQitemZ6029223914QQcategoryZ101609QQrdZ1QQc mdZViewItem).

If you collect variants and want this one, try to find it quickly.

Ok, that is ridiculous. These just came out so no one really knows how tough to find this is gonna be. I bet the seller didn't realize either since it doesn't say anything about it being a variant or rare in the auction.

I collect variations...but that is too serious for even me.

Good Lord, I only paid $15.00 for mine off Ebay.

Yeah, I resorted to Ebay. Better than burning up $30.00 is gas (or more) hunting for this thing.

Sure, I could have just ignored the variation, but I wanted it so there!:p

No beef here. :D

I just so happened to buy the first Vader I saw (when I bought the entire Hoth wave) and it was the standing version. I got lucky. Since I like collecting reasonable or "real" variants, not like this Han Solo pike crap, I will definitely buy the walking Vader. It just makes collecting all that much more interesting and exciting for me. It's one of the few things I can look forward to when I'm all caught up on the figures that are currently released.

This is actually the only figure that I am missing out of the first two waves. Got the rest of them, but now there are variants of this! Just trying to find one, which I am sure I will do in time.

I'm not sure this will be to hard to find. I managed to find 3 at two different wal-mart's over the weekend. These same wal-mart's have already had the walking version come through at least twice already before these showed up.
