I saw at my local Target a version of the new Threepio with Battle Droid Head that had the 3PO head on the body with the Battle Droid Head and blaster in the blister, AND one that had the Battle Droid Head on the figure while it was holding the Blaster- and the 3PO head was in the blister!

Which is rarer? Is it an even mix?

Otherwise, I dig the new Jango :) Poggle ain't too bad, either.

Thoughts?

I've seen both C-3PO's at 2 Targets, along with Sun Fac and Poggle. The 2 latter figures will probably be the peg warmers of this wave, with C-3PO a close third. Haven't seen any of the others from this wave yet.

That sorry sculpt that is Jango is not new....from what I have seen, Threepio is evenly packed.

Evenly packed 3P0's I do believe. One to open, and one to keep sealed.

Eh- I've been out of it for a while, so I didn't see a lot of the AOTC figs.

Ah well.

C-3PO is a repack from the AOTC Deluxe. I just read that C-3PO with the Droid head has an Imperial Holo figure, and with His head has a Rebel Holo figure. I should have checked this when I saw them. So that makes this variation cooler.

So that makes this variation cooler. They've also got different the 6 holos from each side. So technically this figure comes with all 12 holos making those variation completists hunt even more.

Ok, that officially makes it a little cool. Granted, completists will be super upset, but... omelet... breaking eggs... you get the drift.

Geez I'm glad I quit the 3 3/4 line...

I can't imagine trying to get 12 versions of every figure! That's...staggering...

Hats off to anyone who does it, though

3PO is the first to have all 12 holos, the rest only have 6 possible: light side figures get 1 of 6 light side holos, and dark side figures get 1 of 6 dark side holos. You'd have to be a really really over-the-top completist to get each carded figure with all its holograms, 6 of each figure for most, 6 to 8 figures per wave, just the first 2 waves alone (carkoon, hoth) would be 84 carded figures to collect.

84 figures...

And someone WILL do it...

I would have 10 years ago- but then, that's me.

And I bet Hasbro is banking on people like me to still be around- especially since until the TV series, there's nothing new they can really do (unless they go down the Video Game road- and I bet Scorch is a test for that)
