Does anybody know of a place where I could buy stands for the 12" figures? I have a few that won't stand up by themselves.

Try Wal-Mart. I bought some doll stands from them a couple of years ago that do the trick.

Hobby stores like Michael's and Hobby Lobby also are a great place to look
I was just gonna pic some up yesterday, but I couldn't find any. Smurfvader, they look like this http://www.rosesgift.com/images/3092.jpg
Anyone use Action Stands for their standard figs? I'm thinkin' about getting some... Any insight? Do the ones with 2 pegs work out alright? I mean, does the second peg get in the way? Surely they're not spaced so that every figure makes use of both pegs?
What do you guys use to stand your 4"??

Like Tontus314 , I use those doll stands for the 12". I picked up a few from Ebay for about $2 a piece. Try craft stores, hobby stores, etc.
For 4", I've used both Real Action Stands and some other brand of stand from a few years ago. I like the fact that the Reals are clear, but the extra peg bugs me a tiny bit, but its really no deal breaker. The old stands I have are solid black with one peg, so I use those for Imperials usually. They don't seem quite as well made as the Reals - I've had a few pegs break off.
Has anyone used the Real stands for Vintage figures? If so, how's the peg size? I have some older small rectangular vintage stands, but the pegs are a little too large, and I don't use them now, because I don't want to damage the peg holes on my vintage figs.

Thanks, I actually was able to pick some up at a local mom & pop toy store that specializes in dolls and toy trains. I guess I've been fooling myself for so long (They are not dolls, they are 12" inch action figures) that the thought of looking down the Barbie aisle never occured to me.

I picked up a few of those doll stands, and have put some of my SW guys on them. But I found something else at the comic store today. 1/6 scale Action Stands!

I've seen these in magazines before, but had forgotten all about them. I picked one up, and they're not bad. They grip the leg of your doll, instead of the torso. They're plastic, but seem fairly sturdy. And they come in black, blue, camouflage or clear! They're highly adjustable; they're jointed in several places, and they screw tight. The leg clamp has a spring loaded grip. The bases aren't very wide, though. I can't find a reciept, but I think I paid $4.
Well, they might come in handy. Might do well with action poses, too..? I think for now I'll stick with the metal doll stands for some, and try these things for others. I tried Bossk, for instance, on the metal stand; I don't wanna use those for him because those delicate little plastic pieces of his costume are in the way.
LMK if any of you try them.
