This thing (like almost every other Targer exclusive) is a piece of Junk. If they had made him 1-1.5 inches taller I would have hopped all over it

03-21-2006, 12:10 PM
If they HAD made it taller... I would have hoped they wouldn't have ruined it by gluing that junk all over him. It would have been better if it could have been "applied"...

Yams ? That's HILARIOUS, what is this thing anyway ? I love it based on that description alone. lol

Here you go Caesar.

Does anyone know if these exclusives will come in a newly designed protective case, like past Target exclusives? The twins didn't at Wal-Mart, but they were also regular price. For 12.99 or whatever he'll be, Grevious better come protected!
And what is it with Target and fire, flames, molten lava reflections, etc. This figure seem a little bare bones to me.

I just bought one yesterday for $10 from a freind and it does come in a new protective case. Check it out.

I think it looks alright especially the carded version. I'll get it when it comes out, but I don't see it being any kind of problem to find, so 30 bucks is really laughable.

Yam face is hilarious. It looks like he is puking up the thanksgiving leftovers. Good thing they werent candied, I would hate a description for thta one.

Thank the maker it has a case! Still going to be too expensive IMO, but it is more an option for me now. Let's hope the relrelease the twins in protective cases! ( I know it's not gonna happen though)

Maybe they will make cases for this Saga line. I know its wishful thinking but you never know.

Maybe they will make cases for this Saga line. I know its wishful thinking but you never know.Won't these TSC figures fit into the OTC star cases? The cards are about the same size and such and the bubbles seem alot shallower.

It looks great in that case, I'll be sure to pick up General Sweet'Potatoes.

Ol' yam-face Grievous at Action-HQ... $29.99??!!!

Awesome. I don't see why every home doesn't have one.

03-22-2006, 08:35 AM
I'd possibly consider it if it were $9.99 but it doesn't appear that's going to happen!

While I'm sure I won't feel like the price is right. I do like the figure more that Lava Vader, Lava Anakin, Lava Obi, or Shadow trooper. But the fire on the face should look more like flame and less like the Play-Doh fun factory. As far as the flame being removable I don't care since I have enough regular version I don't need another.

You know I have to bring the humour from time to time.

Actually... I think Skankin' Sam did that to him. SHE threw the yams!!! Of course, Whatevia just stood offto the side with her arms crossed... unimpressed as usual.

Make a pic of her punting the yams, that would be glorious.

Thanks alot, now I'm hungry.

I have been using the Star III cases for my TSC figures. They are a little snug at the wide point in the bubble, but there is no damage that I have seen to the card or bubble. Popular opinion with the distributors is that there will be no change without mage complaining and undeniable proof that the cases are damaging the cards or bubbles.

At $30, it's a better bargain than Slicker's mom, and not nearly as fugly.
