Thanks dudes, I never thought I'd be at this point so soon--the point where I am closer to 30 than I was to 20 :( :( :(

I think I will go eat some birthday cake and then hang myself.

Don't fret. I'm coming up on the half way point this year and I feel like I'm 18 still (and look like I'm 12).

Happy Birthday either way. And many more.

Don't fret.

Was this is proof of your clairvoyance ?

You sad "don't fret" and then Frett came along with the Bantha comments. It reads like you were warning him to not say what you already knew he was going to. :crazed:

I think I will go eat some birthday cake and then hang myself.I just turned 30 last August, it ain't as big a deal if you don't let it be, "young at heart" and all that crap, and you have a while left to even worry about that. Just keep collecting toys, people will call you immature all the time. :p

I just hit the east side of the LBC on a mission tryin' to find Mr Warren G.

So the "C" is Cali, JT? I always figured "City." Either way, eh.

Happy b-day, LBC, BTW.

There isn't a Long Beach County. This is California, remember, where the counties are as big as North Carolina.

I lack all Cali cred, so I didn't know what I was talking about, I guess.

I've heard California and I've heard City, but since LBC doesn't call itself "Long Beach City", I buy the Cali one.

... on LBC's birthday :p

Thanks for all the B-Day wishes gentlemen.

We went out to dinner yesterday to honor my birthday along with my twin, and we've decided to consolidate birthdays with my older brother on the 9th of April (that is when I get to actually get gifts).

JT, I do feel young at heart and yes, collecting toys, playing video games, and sleeping in till noon on Saturdays are all examples that my youth has not totally left me.

Mabs, haven't seen any spaceships lately but I still see aliens everytime I go to the Concorde in beautiful Niagara Falls, Ontario.

Frett, I think I will take you up on that sponge bath offer. LBC has been mighty lonely now lately . . .

Can we all get sponge baths?

What tha f.....?

And because the word "Cali" was used in this thread so many times, I feel obligated to post this:

I'm going back to Cali, Cali, Cali
I'm going back to Cali.. hmm, I don't think so
I'm going back to Cali, Cali, Cali
I'm going back to Cali.. I don't think so

Going back to Cali, stylin, profilin
Growlin, and smilin, while in the sun
The top is down, on the black Corvette
And it's fly, cause it's sittin on Dayton's
Laurents steering wheel, plushed out, gold-leaf phantom top
and three girls waiting
VRRRROOM engine's blowin, the chrome, is shining
Passing all the cars on the way
Movement of the wind, back wheels spin
Pop in a cassette and push play

I'm going back to Cali, Cali, Cali
I'm going back to Cali - yea y'all, I don't think so
I'm going back to Cali, Cali, Cali
I'm going back to Cali..

Thank you for the warm birthday wishes gentlemen.

Tee Eye, the first time I can ever remember having my birthday fall on Good Friday. With Easter being the earliest it has been in 95 years, I probably will be :dead: before the next one.

JJ, do you have any (legal) students in mind that would be more than willing to give an apple for the this lonely teacher?

Thank you Jedi-Kal-El, I have two more years left before I turn thirty something and really get depressed.

I just hit 35 and there's nothing wrong with it Bro- hope you have some time to get proper today- stay away from the 'Corde (tho if you ARE attending shot me your # and we can laugh together at that business ;))

The Corde is the WORST "adult club" I've ever witnessed and I've seen some BAD ones

Yes - a very happy b-day to you LBC. What's wrong with being 30 something?

Bel-Cam Jos
03-21-2008, 08:16 PM
Your 30s are the early teen years for middle age: just feeling out those changes in your body, trying to remain cool with the older kids, seeing girls in a new light, differences in hair. Best part? No vOicE ChanGeS. :p

Oh, happy happy, joy joy to you, LBC.

Thank you all for the birthday greetings well-wishers!

Yes mabs, the weather was ideal for a first full day of Spring. Part of the day I didn't even need a jacket.

Went to have dinner at a renowned fancy smancy Italian restaurant and later on, met friends and coworkers out for spirits at one of our favorite watering holes. Topped it all with a 2:30 a.m. visit to Denny's.

Tonight, I get to celebrate with cake and ice cream with the family and open my loot.

I thought the quote was don't trust anyone older than 30? I guess that means I have a year left before people start to question my intentions BCJ.

And Tee-Eye, is it any surprise that the March birthday celebrants are the sages on this board?

Does that mean I'm parsly or rosemary, not sage? :( :D
