I haven't seen a thread for this so I thought I'd start one.

I just ordered this last night, was able to get the SS exclusive version, which has the 'exploded' DV helmet with Luke's face inside. SS had a number of pics up. and I thoguht it looked pretty good. Oddly enough, for me, I'm redoing some of my displays in my bedroom. I have a whole area for opened 12" fig's, another for all my boxed... Anyway, I decided to open my Dagobah Luke with Yoda just last week. The yoda's got some great spindly legs on it. I'll try to display it with Luke doing his handstand.

The links below don't yet show the Dagobah Luke, also, not all my 12".

I'm not seeing Luke in this thing's face, once again Mat Falls has gone for the weird mouth thing he did on 12" Luke Jedi, only it's worse here because paint has gone way overboard. The upper face I sorta see it, but it's like a cartoony version. The Yoda is good, but a bit prequel-y.

I pre-ordered the SS Exclusive yesterday. Which to my surprise still hasn't sold out yet.

I think the open mouth is quite appropriate for this statue considering he is running through a swamp with a puppet on his back. IMO the sculpt looks great but I agree the paint app. could use some work. Hopefully it will look perfect when it is released.

The likeness sucks, but overall the piece is rather beautiful. I love the exclusive accessory...I wish I could buy just that part!!

Still, $350 is definitely too steep for me.

Well if you decide you could live without the Exclusive accessory the regular version should sell for at least $100 less when it hits eBay.

$350 is too steep for me too, but I folded and ordered one with the flex-pay option. Just can't resist that exclusive accessory. WHile I agree that Lukes likeness isn't perfect, I will say that the overall figure looks fantastic IMO (and the likeness is better than te 1st PF Luke).

Except that it's the exclusive accessory that I really want. And on second and third look, the likeness isn't as bad as it first appeared to me. It's still a poor likeness of Luke, but it's not the stuck-out sore thumb I initially though it was.

It took a lot of willpower not to fold and use the Flex Pay option though.

Yeah, I have no willpower... :p

Broke down and ordered the exclusive edition on Flexpay. If I start adhering to $20 per week starting this week, I should have $220 by the time payment #1 is due. I'll be far enough ahead that if I keep going with $20 per week, then I'll have no problem making the payments.

I did have to prove to my wife that I'd be willing to make sacrifices for it and not let my spending on collectibles spiral out of control, so I cancelled my SDCC Exclusive Darth Vader figure. Now, I have more wiggle room to set aside more money for Dagobah Luke/Yoda.

What is the exclusive accessory? It must be good to be the pivotal characteristic when deciding to buy or not to buy the statue.

Usually the exclusive accessories are kinda lame IMO, but this one is the exception to me. I had to have it.

It's the severed Vader head w/Lukes face. Here's a nice pic at Sideshow.com - Vader head (http://www.sideshowtoy.com/mas_assets/jpg/71481_press02-001.jpg) ..and here's one of it with the 18" Luke statue (http://www.sideshowtoy.com/mas_assets/jpg/71481_press01-001.jpg)

Great accessory! Too bad it means we won't get it with the 12" Dagobah Luke now!

This piece is truely amazing. I just love everything about it, especially Luke's facial expression. Unfortunately though I have to pass on ever having one. I was hoping to atleast be able to get this one, and Leia, but there is no way I can work both or just one in my budget, what a bummer indeed....
