The new Momaw Nadon is shipping with two different drinking glasses. The first one is painted bue and white. The second is all clear.

I know, this is almost, but not quite, as exciting as a bubble variation  , but someone out there will want to know.

I have the blue one, a friend of mine has the clear. If we are in the same place at the same time with a camera and our figures I'll try to get a pic posted.

A paint variant is always better than a packaging variant in my book.

This is a half way decent variation. I am going to have to get these variants even though I usually don't buy variants.

And, of course, there is now a third variation to throw into the mix posted on rebelscum the other day is a clear glass with blue paint. If you get all three versions of both figures with all the different pack in holographic figures then that's 36 figures. At $6.63 each and assuming 5% sales tax, that's just over $250. I glad I'm not a completist anymore.

lol @mm24

I'm usually all over variants but for some reason this one doesn't really interest me. I guess I can't bring myself to spend an extra $30 on four figures that I already own for a different colored, miniscule piece of plastic. Wait, thats probably half the variants in my collection. Hey! I might have just kicked my habbit of collecting variants. :D

I saw the clear Hem variant today at the store. Not sure if I want these or not yet, but picked it up and saved the receipt. I guess I have 90 days to make the decision.

I take it all of these cups have been released with other figures already so its not even a new glass. If anyone can satisfy my curiousity I would appreciate. I'm too apathetic to research myself but I figure someone has already looked it up.

You sure you don't want those glasses Matt? lol

The only variant I haven't seen yet is the blue translucent one. Yes, for some reason when I look through the pegs I check their little glasses. I'm still not buying them though.

is the black pilot a special variant or "error" cause I saw one at Kay Bee by me the other day.

is the black pilot a special variant or "error" cause I saw one at Kay Bee by me the other day. It's just a different color variation that was released. Not sure if it's anymore rare than the normal one though.

With the initial release of the pilot it was with the "regular" grey jumpsuit with the white boots. Later towards the end of the E3 line they released three variants- the green clone commander, the shock trooper, and the black pilot. These were "offical" but they were just carded changes. From what I gathered, some of these were very hard to find, so the shocktrooper was rereleased with the battle pack (although not just because of him), and the the black clone pilot was rereleased with the Heros and Villians (or was it the other one?) collection.

[quote=mastermatt24and the the black clone pilot was rereleased with the Heros and Villians (or was it the other one?) collection.[/quote]You are correct. He was redone for line for whatever reason. I would've thought the regular one would've been done...even though he warmed big time around me.

Im glad they did the black one, I think it looks a lot better and it leads itself to the transition to the imp pilot much better.

Also, the shocktroopers in the "Skirmish in the Senate" set are not the same as the ROTS carded versions, those were #6 bodies (quick-draw action) while the Skirmish ones are #41 bodies (super articulated).

The black clone pilot is indeed in the Heroes & Villains line which is why it'll probably be as common as the original paint variation, the ROTS-carded version is not.

Come on you know what I meant Jt- changes that were put on cards (even though the cards themselves werent changed). ;)

JediTricks

"Card change" is a variation term which refers to a change of the card itself, so no, I didn't see what you meant. :p

Got my HasbroToyShop order yesterday, 2 extra R5s (one with a couple odd notches in the front half of the top of his head, where the two halves meet; not present on my other two!),
Uh-oh guys! I smell a new variant!!!!! :crazed:

Hey-

I couldn't find anything about this so I'm starting a new thread.

I picked up a Hem Dazon today (yeah, big deal but I rarely find ANYTHING anymore).

I noticed that all of them had a "filled" cup of blue milk, but one figure had a completely CLEAR cup. I picked up the clear, of course. What's up with this variant? Who else has seen this?
