I sent my second letter to Irvin Kershner, first one didn't arrive yet alas so I consider it lost

02-23-2008, 05:14 PM
Success today from Stuart Freeborn! I sent 4 photos to him and his wife Kay. All came back signed by Stuart, but not Kay. Still a success and they look great!

02-23-2008, 10:51 PM
Reminder (to me too) the Wattographs signing with Rohan Nichol and Mike Quinn end on the 30th. I'm still deciding on what to send in so I need to hurry too.

Was thinking about some trading cards for both signers and a photo for Nichol.

02-24-2008, 04:13 AM
It seems a new Ford signing will be at OPX

02-24-2008, 10:38 PM
yeah, looks like they're doing 3 MORE! Aie!

02-27-2008, 04:07 PM
Got a RTS from Wayne Pygram today. Thats ok, ony my 2nd failure in a few years. At least I got my items back so its not a loss.

02-27-2008, 07:08 PM
How are you guys getting this stuff personally signed? I thought you have to go through LFL authorized services like Official Pics or something? I didn't know you could just mail them directly to them and have them sign it. Do you have a list of addresses?

02-27-2008, 07:17 PM
You can go through OfficialPix anytime.

But Wattographs has the world's largest, FREE database of Star Wars Actors. You simply register, send your fan mail and wait for a reply. Most/some of the time you get a reply. And sometimes you dont. Its a hit or miss game of patience.

But its been far more rewarding for me as a collector and I enjoy the hell out of it. Wattographs is awesome for it -most sites with that service charge you for its information.

02-27-2008, 07:20 PM
That sounds awesome, but do you know if they are really signing or their publicist? What are the chances of Harrison Ford or Ewan McGregor? Next to nil I'd imagine.

02-27-2008, 07:32 PM
Most of the actors have been around lone enough or done enough appearances/conventions for people to know what their autograph looks like. People like Jeremy Bulloch or Dave Prowse are pretty easy to tell.

Theres always a posibility of getting a secretarial. I know 1 that I have is, which I got from Temuera Morrison (or rather his secretary) because I've met him several times and have numerous autographs all of which are identical except for the mail version.

Most of the actors have a pretty good attitude toward SW, and as long as you pay for return postage -they'll sign an item for you. But its a favor they're doing for you and they really dont get anything out of it.

Now, Harrison Ford WONT sign through the mail. He has no reason to. I have a few Ewan McGregors, one I got through the mail on a small b&w photo. The signature is believed to be real, but there is no pattern to how Ewan signs so its hard to authenticate. But theres no reason that his agency wouldnt have him sit down and scribble a bunch of photos to send back with fan mail. Everynow and then somebody gets a personal item back actually signed by him as well.

Natalie Portman, Hayden Christensen, Liam Neeson and such are NOT going to sign for the same reason Ford doesnt. The dont need the money and have no incentive. Thats not to say they've never signed a SW (or other) item. But SW items from them are extremely rare and warrent a high market value. Unfortunatly most of them out there are fake.

02-27-2008, 07:51 PM
That's the reason why the only signed items I have are Signature Editions of Master Replicas props because I know they are genuine. I did meet Carrie Fisher at Comic Con and had her sign a personalized photo but that is a rare exception for me. I'm generally not big on signings unless there's a chance that I have an opportunity to actually meet them in person. Not only that but it irritates me to pay an exhorbant amount to a celebrity for their autograph. No way am I going to pay Billy Dee Williams forty bucks to sign something.

And I will never get over my Lou Ferrigno experience at Comic Con. I had just bought the Incredible Hulk Season 1 DVD set and my friend and I walked past him and he said, "Hey, you should have Lou Ferrigno sign your DVD set." So I went back and took off my backpack to pull out my DVD, Lou sees me coming with it, and before I can say anything he points and says "That's new. That's forty." I was confused. He gestures to his photos and says, "If you want one of my pictures, they're twenty but if you want me to sign that, it's forty." Now what I should have said was "Forget it, " but I felt intimidated (Lou is still a big mother) so I reluctantly handed him two twenties and he signed, rather sloppily I might add, the front of the lenticular box which his signature is really illegible. It was a terrible experience and my friend always teases me saying "That's new, that's forty." I felt so bad about it that I have NEVER watched my Incredible Hulk DVDs and probably never will. I was so disgusted that a childhood hero takes advantage of his fans for money just because he's an unemployed actor who has to do conventions for a living now.

Now I'm depressed. I need some Prozac.

02-27-2008, 10:18 PM
Oh that sucks dave. Dont let yor bad experience ruin it all for ya.

Wattographs, OfficialPix and In Person are the only autographs -you cant go wrong with. If they wernt real -I would recommend them so strongly.

02-28-2008, 09:41 PM
Oh, and right on time, Wattographs is doing another round of private signings to be announced on March 1st. Hhhmmm...should be interesting.

03-06-2008, 05:02 AM
Autograph Michael Culver Captain Needa (TTM) - glad it arrived before I'm going to Tunisia tonight:

03-06-2008, 11:48 AM
Congrats on Michael Culver. I got a success from him 2 years ago. I'm not sure what he signs with, it looks like a paint pen as the flow looks inconsistant. He hasnt been signing too much latley -maybe its hit or miss.

HEY! Wattographs announced their March signers as Matt Doran from AOTC and John Dicks from ESB. Sweet! Doran is really hard to get.

03-06-2008, 06:26 PM
Success today from Daniel Logan. I sent him a photo, trading and index card. He signed all 3, included his extra photo signed and also wrote me a nice letter on the cardboard insert I sent to protect the photo.

03-16-2008, 04:32 AM
Just received the autographs from Clive Revill (Emperor's voice) - his letter arrived while I was in my Tunisia trip (visiting Star Wars locations too) :)

03-16-2008, 10:33 AM
Sweet! Great success on Revill! I have 2 unanswered requests out with him. Guess hes hit and miss.

How was Tunisia? Did you hit all the sites? Lars Homestead, SW Canyon, Mos Eisley..

03-17-2008, 02:41 AM

03-17-2008, 11:11 PM
Hot damn -those are some awesome pics! Did you get to see the Lars Homestead or Obi-Wan's Hut?

03-18-2008, 02:33 AM
Received nice answer from Jason Wingreen (Boba's voice), he signed my Fett photos already autographed by Jeremy Bulloch:

03-20-2008, 01:05 PM
Congrats on Jason Wingreen! He was my very 1st TTM and success. Been meaning to send another item to him one of these days.

FYI, the Wattographs signing with John Dicks (Captain Lennnox in ESB) and Matt Doran (Elan Sleazebaggano in AOTC) ends on the 31st. They are still taking personal send-in items. I'm sending a silver & black Trilogy poster for Dicks and a Matrix one-sheet for Doran.

03-21-2008, 04:39 AM
Thanks Jay! I got a great success from Ralph McQuarrie! He sent all my 4 portofolio pictures signed, an original sketch (anyone knows where is this from?) plus a photo of himself and Mrs. Joan with a few words on the back:

My 3 other portofolio pictures were signed R.M.Q., these new ones were R.M.Quarrie. :) Thank you Mr.McQuarrie!

03-23-2008, 03:44 PM
Got some awesome 8x10 photos of the Original Emperor in the mail yesteray. I'm gonna send to Clive Revill on this 3rd shot. Sending a silver sharpie along as the photos themselves are dark in color.

03-24-2008, 12:58 PM
Sent out to Jason Wingreen today. I'm working on a Bounty Hunters multi-sign which I sent along as well.

Today I sent off a NEW project (pic below) getting signed by Kenny Baker this weekend in PA and then its off to Australia to be signed by John Dicks (Captain Lennox) -curtosy of Wattographs.

03-27-2008, 06:25 PM
Sent out to Julian Julian Glover and Natalia Tena (Tonks in Harry Potter).

Tomorrow OfficialPix is putting up their 2nd round of Ford signed Solo pics. The image they selected is pretty crappy -so I will likely pass even if I can get it.

03-28-2008, 10:39 AM
Got some awesome 8x10 photos of the Original Emperor in the mail yesteray. I'm gonna send to Clive Revill on this 3rd shot. Sending a silver sharpie along as the photos themselves are dark in color.

It seems Clive Revill doesn't sign pics where Ian McDiarmid appears on anymore...

04-01-2008, 09:31 PM
Yes I know. Thats why I'm sending a photo of the Original Emperor.

Anyways, 2 successes today! One from Jason Wingreen. He signed all my items and wrote me a very nice letter. The 2nd from Kenny Baker. I sent him 2 photos and a trading card. He signed and sent that card back and included a seperate signed photo -but no sign of the ones I sent :cross-eye

04-02-2008, 11:00 PM
Finally mailed my request to Clive Revill. Also got my Matrix one sheet sent to Wattographs for the Matt Doran signing.

04-10-2008, 09:43 PM
Wattographs is doing an April singing with Ailsa Berk (Amanaman) and Hilton Howson (Toonbuck Toora) this month. Dont have much in the way to send. I'll probably order a photo each.

My local convention in Denver is this next week. Getting autos from Zachark Quinto (Heroes, Star Trek, 24) and Nichelle Nichols (Heroes, Star Trek).

04-17-2008, 12:22 PM
Sent out to Ewan McGregor and Colin Skeaping (Stormtrooper) this last week. I'm working on a Stromtrooper milti-sign and Skeaping is the 1st.

04-17-2008, 01:39 PM
I'm working on a Stromtrooper milti-sign and Skeaping is the 1st.

Great minds think alike (http://threads.rebelscum.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=3182626&page=0&view=&sb=5&o=&fpart=1&vc=1&PHPSESSID=)

04-20-2008, 10:45 AM
Not SW, but I got Nichelle Nichols and Zachary Quinto on several items at my local convention this weekend.

04-24-2008, 06:30 PM
Got a Harrison Ford signed index card in the mail today! Gonna save it for a project to work on some rainy day. Not sure if I want it SW or Indy related.....Hhmmm the posibilities. Pic below...

04-25-2008, 01:04 AM
I received 2 autos from Lightning Bear (Scout in ROTJ), the first photo is mine the second he included himself with a nice letter

04-27-2008, 11:21 AM
Lightning Bear is a great TTM signer.

However. Theres too much a debate as to wether he was actually in Return of the Jedi or not. Most obvious, he's TOO TALL! I saw him in person at CIV and hes about a foot taller that any Stormtrooper I've ever seen in the movies. He's never been able to produce any evidence that hes been in a SW movie at all. 3rd, none of the confirmed SW troopers remember him at either. Its possible that he was just an extra somewhere. Until something comes up showing him in the movies -I dont want his signature on anything.

04-30-2008, 09:25 AM
Got a nice success from Dave Prowse today. I inserted $20 and 2 photos, he personalized both of them and included a 3 photo. I usually send $5-$10 when TTM since I'm from Romania so $20 is worthing for me :)

04-30-2008, 11:00 AM
Great success with Prowse sergiurusu! Hes not a good TTM signer but for some extra $ -you're pretty much set. Nice images too!

Wattographs should be announcing their May autograph signers soon.

Not SW, but I'm getting my Heroes cast poster signed by Santiago Cabrera and Tawny Cypress this week in London. :D

05-01-2008, 12:03 PM
Another GREAT success regarding my favorite villain Darth Vader: personalized autograph from James Earl Jones. Now I have 2 similar photos with Vader (long story) one signed by both JEJ and Dave Prowse and one personalized by JEJ :)

05-01-2008, 01:26 PM
Nice successes with JEJ latley! I sent out to Frank oz and Karen Allen this last week.

05-02-2008, 11:54 AM
Looks like the Wattographs May signers are Angus MacInnes (Dutch) and Oliver Ford Davies (Gov. Sio Bibble)!

Great news! I can finally get my TPM Teaser cast-signed poster signed by Davies. I've been wanting MacInnes for a long time too.

05-02-2008, 02:45 PM
Picked up the Official Pix 11X14" set from Indy 4 at my local Blockbuster. Very nice quality stills...I especially like the shot of our heroes fast footin' it from the Ugha warriors.

05-04-2008, 06:37 PM
Those are pretty neat. I like the one of Shia on the motorcycle.

OfficialPix had TONS of Indy 4 images up but took most of them down till after the movie comes out. I want the classic shot of Indy on the horse but OP doesnt offer size otions w/ Indy photos yet.

05-11-2008, 06:07 PM
Success this last week from Karen Allen. She personalized a photo, and signed an index and a Heritage trading card for me. Fast turnaround too!

In poster news, SWS.com has the new Clone Wars theatrical onesheet in stock. Gonna place me an order this week. Maybe get it signed later.

05-13-2008, 12:42 PM
Today I sent off to Amy Allen.

Wattographs is doing a bonus signing with Bonnie Piesse (Beru Larrs) this month! If ya got in on the Edgerton signing -you pay a lower rate which is a great deal. So I'm in!

05-13-2008, 01:27 PM
I just received my General Veers photos back signed

05-14-2008, 12:31 PM
Congrats on Julian Glover! Hes always a great TTM signer. I still need his sig on my Last Crusade and SW Trilogy posters -so I'll have to get him at a con.

05-14-2008, 02:12 PM
Received my SW CW theatrical poster today from ShopSW.com. Definitely frame-worthy. Wish I had a 27x40" lightbox poster frame like in the theatres.

05-15-2008, 02:26 AM
Thanks Jay. does anyone know about Michael Pennington (Mof Jerjerod)? Is he ok TTM? I sent him a letter some time ago an nothing...

05-15-2008, 10:42 PM
I got Pennington a few years ago from a private siging with Wattographs. TTM -hes hit or miss, mostly miss though. I have a request out with him also. Over a year + :(

05-16-2008, 07:24 AM
I already have his auto but thought I might get my pics back personalized :(

05-16-2008, 10:00 PM
yeah I was hoping also.

Anyways, got a RTS from Carrie Fisher today. She changed the date of her one-act in Scottsdale so my mail missed her. But thats ok, cause I got my items back.

05-18-2008, 07:27 PM
Getting a request ready for Prowse. I've had a trading card and a multi-photo I'm working on. Also gonna do a request to John Williams. Been meaning to get around to Williams but better than later.

05-20-2008, 03:44 AM
yeah I was hoping also.

Anyways, got a RTS from Carrie Fisher today. She changed the date of her one-act in Scottsdale so my mail missed her. But thats ok, cause I got my items back.

sorry to hear about that...

05-21-2008, 12:29 PM
It happens. Anyways, sent off to Dave Prowse today.

05-21-2008, 12:40 PM
It seems Carrie Fisher may be going to Celebration Japan!

05-30-2008, 11:15 AM
Just received a nice letter and an autograph from Peter Sumner (Lt. Pol Treidum)

06-01-2008, 12:21 AM
Congrats on Peter Sumner! I got a success from him last year. He wrote me a nice letter too.

Got a success from Natalia Tena, Tonks in the Harry Potter films this last week.

06-01-2008, 03:33 AM
Thanks! Any pics of Tonks auto? :)

06-01-2008, 07:59 PM
I'll try and get pics up later.

Working on TTMs for Daran Norris, John Rhys-Davies and Dave Filoni.

06-03-2008, 08:44 AM
I just received my picture signed by Michael Leader, it was already signed by Richard Bonehill. Also got Michael Sheard's (Admiral Ozzel) auto from a trade with a German seller - I already missed an Ozzel auto since another seller sent it with regular mail and I'm pretty sure it is lost...

06-04-2008, 01:26 AM
Congrats on Michael Leader and Sheard. I have a request to Leader out that I'm hoping to get back. I'm also doing a Stormtrooper-multi but have chosen to forgoe Bonehill as mine is an ANH trooper only piece (for now). I got 1 Sheard a few years ago at Celebration III. He was a great guy and a pleasure to talk to. God rest him!

Sent out to Ray Winstone on Monday.

06-04-2008, 01:30 AM
Thanks! I still hope to get my other Sheard...

06-04-2008, 11:14 AM
Wattographs announced Leanna Walsman as their June privite signing. Gonna get at least 1 photo and send in a Topps Evolutions trading card. Leanna was only ever appeared at CIII and she did some auto cards for Topps in the AOTC days, so I really recommend this one!

06-11-2008, 06:24 PM
Recieved my Crystal Skull theartical poster in the mail today. Shipped in just 3 days! I'm sending the Teaser poster to London to be signed next month by a few cast members.

Also should be getting Matt Busch's ROTJ charity print in the mail sometime this next week.

06-18-2008, 09:13 PM
Although I'm not much of a collector of items in this particular thread, I've checked in regularly through the years to see what Jayspawn and sergiurusu are up to. I never get tired of their enthusiasm and passion for their collections. I'm always interested in seeing what their newest hauls are.

Keep up the good work, guys!

06-19-2008, 01:08 AM
Thank you for the kind words! Focusing my collecting in a particular area has made SW collecting more meaningful to me as a fan. The way I see it, each signature gives me a part of SW itself. Glad to hear we have some readers!

Wattographs has announced today that they will be taking send-in items from Fan's for London Film and Comic Con. They have a great lineup of autograph signers listed -not to be missed.

Havnt recieved my Matt Busch ROTJ print yet -they're going out in small batches so I'm just waiting for my turn I guess. :p

06-19-2008, 02:36 AM

Thanks TeeEye7! :) I enjoy collecting a few things and Imperial SW autographs are among them.

06-20-2008, 09:18 PM
Got my request sent off to John Williams. This Monday, I'm sending off to Dave Filoni (new Clone Wars producer) and Matthew Wood.

06-21-2008, 01:04 AM
Received answer from Derek Chaffer who played Stormtrooper - he signed a picture already iautographed by Richard Bonehill

06-21-2008, 01:15 AM
I also received a Michael Pennington as Moff Jerjerrod in a trade (this is my second Jerjerrod)

06-21-2008, 02:55 AM
Awesome success and buy! I got 1 Pennington from Wattographs a few years ago. I sent a request a long while back -but never heard anything. So I'm waiting for another signing before sending anything.

06-21-2008, 03:09 AM
Same here, my Pennington is lost in the mail somewhere

06-21-2008, 07:26 PM

You're both quite welcome! I must continue and say that I especially appreciate the pictures you post of your acquisitions. It's really exciting to see your collections grow!

My autographed items are few: a couple of carded R2-D2 figures when I took my son to meet Kenny Baker years ago, and I had a friend get María de Aragón's when I gave him my POFT2 Greedo carded figure when he was going to a convention.

06-23-2008, 01:56 AM
Thats cool! I have 1 sig from María de Aragón myself on a Topps card. I've hear shes very nice but she's not much for appearances anymore. She did several in the 90's. Shes one of the more uncommon signers these days.

06-25-2008, 09:41 PM
Success today from Ewan McGregor! My photo I sent was returned unsigned, but a new agency signed photo was included with it.

Working on more TTMs to go out this next week hopefully.

06-25-2008, 10:35 PM
Great success from Ian Liston (AT-AT Driver & Wes Janson) he signed my pic and also included his own picture plus a nice letter and a card

06-27-2008, 01:18 PM
Great success from Ian Liston (AT-AT Driver & Wes Janson) he signed my pic and also included his own picture plus a nice letter and a card

That's pretty cool. I like the blue.

06-27-2008, 01:55 PM
That's pretty cool. I like the blue.

That's the one he included!

07-01-2008, 02:17 PM
Sending a request to Terence Stamp this week. Sending a photo from Superman II, as he's not keen on signing SW items.

Anyways, my TPM Teaser poster is on its way to London to be signed by Brian Blessed (Boss Nass), Hassani Shappi (Eeth Koth), and Khan Bonfils (Sasee Tiin) thanks to Wattographs!

Congrats on the Ian Liston success! I had lunch with him and Michael Kingma (Gen. Tarfull) at Celebration 4. Very nice man!

07-01-2008, 06:37 PM
I took my pic from 3 years ago with Steve Sansweet and had him sign it this weekend when he was back for another SW promo segment.

07-02-2008, 12:42 PM
A nice success from Richard Bonehill who signed my custom made plaques (made by PANTHER) - this will go with my MR Stormtrooper blaster or MR stormie helmet

07-05-2008, 02:35 AM
Congrats on Bonehill! Another great SW name. He told some great stories at CIV last year. Standup guy all the way.

Wattographs has announced their July signers as Celia Fushile-Burke (Greeta), Terry McGovern (voice of the Stormtroopers) and Matthew Rowan (Senator Orn Free Taa).

If I get my Stormtrooper multi-back in time I'll definatly send that in, but I'm sending some Evolutions cards for him and Rowan for sure. I've been wanting to start a Jabba's Dancers Multi-sign so heres a good chance methinks.

07-08-2008, 10:55 AM
Success yesterday from Clone Wars writer/Director Dave Filoni! He signed the photo and 2 trading cards I sent. He drew a Clonetrooper on the photo and drew a clone helmet over a clone on each of the cards. Great success -great guy all the way.

07-08-2008, 11:35 AM

I got Peter Mayhew as El Chewbaccabra in a nice trade :D

07-09-2008, 08:11 PM
Recieved my Matt Busch ROTJ charity print and Clone Wars theatrical poster this week.

Also sent some stuff off around the globe to get signed for various projects I'm working on.

07-10-2008, 04:16 PM
Well my Busch ROTJ print turned out to be an Artist Proof. Very nice!

Not SW, but I got some great Topps autograph cards today. Got Alan Dale from Indiana Jones and Ashley Crow and James Kyson Lee from Heroes.

07-17-2008, 07:06 PM
My Phantom Menace Teaser poster is in London for the weekend getting signed by more TPM cast. I'll have to recount the signtures when it gets back. My Raiders of the Lost Ark poster is at the same event getting signed by 5 of the cast.

I'm waiting for more photos to arrive in the mail so I can mail the next round of requests.

Non-SW, but I recently sent a request to Mary Lynn Rajskub from 24. And got some Heroes autograph cards of Adrian Pasdar, Dana Davis and Nicholas D'Agosto.

07-24-2008, 01:03 PM
Autograph successes this last week from Vic Armstrong (Harrison Ford's stunt double for ROTJ and Indy) and from Ronald Falk (Dexter Jester). Been a good week.

Waiting to hear how everything went at LFACC. :D

07-29-2008, 02:25 AM
Not SW -but sending out to Xander Berkeley (24, Air Force One) tomorrow.

Should be getting my items back from LFACC this next week.

07-29-2008, 03:29 AM
Another nice deal for me especially with Ozzel where I was very unlucky till now

07-31-2008, 12:48 AM
Those are nice Sheards! A friend of mine picked up Anthony Forrest for me at a convention this last weekend on some multis I've been slowly working on.

I'm sending off to Gerald Home tomorrow.

08-03-2008, 11:12 PM
Was able to send off to Gerald Home AND John Hurt together!

Wattographs has announced their August Autograph signers, Frank Henson (ROTJ Biker Scout, Stormtrooper, Stunt Master) and Matt Sloan (Plo Koon in AOTC and ROTS). I'm working on a Geronosis Arena multi-sign pic, so I'm getting Sloan added to that! Sending in Evolutions trading cards for each, as I always do. Might as well get Henson on a photo as long as I'm ordering.

Cant beat the guarantee. :pleased:

08-14-2008, 10:54 PM
To sergiurusu & Jayspawn:

Do either one of you have Bridgette Kahn's (Toryn Farr) autograph? I searched her name in the Forums here without result. I did find an autographed photo posted on the internet, however.

I think that would be a cool addition to one's collection!

08-15-2008, 01:39 AM
No, I only collect Imperials, sorry buddy

08-19-2008, 03:14 AM
A small exception to my Imperials collection

08-19-2008, 09:12 AM
I was able to score all of the autographs from Celebration Japan. I was really glad to get Hamill and Daniels. I had Fisher and Baker from before. I would like to get Ford's, but I'm not paying $500. I need to go to wattographs and try some of their addresses. It seems like people do pretty well there.

A small exception to my Imperials collection

I would make that small exception, too! ;)

Go for it! I've had TONS of luck -Wattographs is definatly the best resource out there for SW autographs.

Placed my order for their Ahmed Best signing going on. Should be pretty big, as hes a very hard signature to get.

08-27-2008, 12:36 PM
Sent a TTM to Catherine Taber today (voice of Padme in Clone Wars).

Sending in my photo and trading card of JarJar to Wattographs for the Best signing.

08-29-2008, 01:13 PM
Recieved a Non-SW success today from Xander Berkely (24, Air Force One). Signed by 24 cast photo and wrote me a nice note.

Success a few days ago from Gerald Home (Tessek the Quarren, Mon Calamari Officer). He signed my photo and Topps card. He also included a nice letter and an extra signed Mon Calamari Officer photo. Top man!

Sending a few pics to James Earl Jones today.

08-30-2008, 12:33 AM
Suprise success today from John Rhys-Davies! He signed and personalized the 2 Indiana Jones photos I sent him. The mailman made a 2nd trip just to deliver it today which was nice.

09-02-2008, 05:33 PM
Success today from Matt Lanter! He signed the 2 Clone Wars photos and Topps card I sent!

Also received my items from Wattographs from LFACC. Signed photos include Nick Gillard, Jenny Cresswell (Han's Girlfriend), Jay Benedict (Deak), Lynn Hazeldon (ROTJ female rebel pilot).

09-03-2008, 12:32 PM
Getting an autograph request for Leslie Schofield (Chief Bast). Been wanting to send out to hom for a LONG time.

Wattographs has announced Rebel Pilot Jack Klaff as their September signer. He played Red 4 or John D in the original SW. RARE signer so I'm totally getting in on this one. Gonna start a Rebel Pilots-multi with this one.

09-03-2008, 12:42 PM
Getting an autograph request for Leslie Schofield (Chief Bast). Been wanting to send out to hom for a LONG time.

I sent him about a year ago and nothing yet. Maybe you have more success...

09-03-2008, 01:26 PM
Yeah there hasn't been a success listed in a year, but I figure its worth a shot. Its part of the game after all.

09-11-2008, 12:26 AM
Some awesome pictures over at Wattographs.com of their autograph signing with Leanna Walsman aka Zam Wessel. She's defiantly a cutie!

Got my request sent out to Irvin Kershner yesterday!

09-14-2008, 08:00 PM
TTM success yesterday from James Earl Jones! Sent him a few photos I'm doing multis on. Look even better now!

09-15-2008, 03:21 AM
Congrats on JEJ! Any pics of them?

09-16-2008, 01:02 AM
Not yet. I'll try to get some up later.

Sending out to Nikka Futterman (Asajj Ventress in Clone Wars) and Ian Abercrombie (Palpatine in Clone Wars) this week before I go on vacation.

09-18-2008, 01:23 PM
Not SW but I received a few signed posters in the mail....

Star Trek Generations one sheet signed by Alan Ruck (Capt. John Harriman) and Walter Koenig (Chekov)

The Matrix one sheet signed by Matt Doran (Mouse) thanks to Wattographs.

09-19-2008, 11:54 PM
Success today from Catherine Taber, Padme in the new Clone Wars. She signed the photo and Topps card I sent and included a nice personalized photo and thank you note of her own. Very nice of her to do!

I've got a question regarding the Kenner/Hasbro action figure posters, the ones that show an entire line...POTF, ROTS, etc.

Without resorting to a 5 year ebay quest to find them all, does anyone know if these exist digitally or some other source to get them?

Also, have they done them for every figure line? I know for sure that there was the Kenner A-Z one, the ROTS and current Legacy...I think there was a POTJ one.

09-30-2008, 10:41 AM
I think they have. Some months ago I remember seeing a high-res file of the current Legacy and Indiana Jones lines. I didnt save the files unfortunately.

09-30-2008, 10:49 AM
FYI, Wattographs is talking send-ins for the upcoming Fan Days II next month. The following SW celebrities include...

Peter Mayhew
Robert Watts (Exc. Producer of Star Wars and Indiana Jones)
Amy Allen (Aayla Secura)
Orli Shoshan (Shaak Ti)
Al Lampert (Com. Dan Jir)
Jack McKenzie (Cal Alder in ESB)
Leanna Walsman (Zam Wessel)
Tom Kane (voice of Yoda and Yularen in CW)
Ashley Eckstein (voice of Ahsoka Tano in CW)
Matthew Wood (voice of General Greivous in CW and film)
David Acord (voice of Rotta the Huttlet in CW)

10-02-2008, 01:47 AM
Success yesterday from Terence Stamp! He signed the Superman II photo and index cards I sent. The index was damaged in shipping unfortunately, but the photo came back perfect with an excellent signature (for what Stamp gives).

Sent out to Ian Abercrombie (Chancellor Palpatine in Clone Wars) yesterday and to Brea Grant (Heroes) tomorrow.

Also, OP has added Dave Prowse and Frank Henson (ROTJ Stormtrooper and Bikerscout) to the Fan Days II lineup! Wattographs is taking orders for requests as well. Need to get mine together.....

10-12-2008, 01:10 AM
Sent 2 CW photos into Wattographs to get Ashley Eckstein's signature on at Fan Days II. Since WG has my Trilogy poster, I'm getting Prowse, Mayhew, Al Lampert, Jack McKenzie, Robert Watts and Frank Henson. Should be pretty sweet after the show!

Sent out a request to Dee Bradly Baker this last week also.

10-12-2008, 01:16 AM
Sent this custom made MR plaque to Dave Prowse and when getting it back I'm going to send it to James Earl Jones as well.

10-13-2008, 01:25 AM
Nice plaque! Not really MR style but its still very cool. What Vader collectible are you going to display with it?

Thought about getting some MR style plaques done myself and sending them to Jones and Bulloch for my MR Vader and Boba Helmets.

10-13-2008, 09:28 AM

The plaque is MR style (http://stage.rebelscum.com/estore/proddetail.asp?prod=PS-MR-SET&cat=170), maybe not by looks but by size and shape (the wide signature model). If talking about the design and colors, I prefer to have the original MR plaque silver color and the custom made one totally different

10-16-2008, 05:56 PM
Recieved my Angus MacInnes, Leanna Walsman, and Matt Rowan signed photos and cards from Wattographs today. All of them signed and inscribed asked. woohoo!

10-18-2008, 01:54 AM
Working on a bunch of Star Wars and Indiana Jones requests. Waiting for several photos to arrive from various places too. Waiting to hear how Fan Days II goes where several of my items are.

10-18-2008, 11:07 AM
Success from Dave Prowse, I sent him the MR custom made wide signature metal plaque and just got it back signed. Next week it will go to James Earl Jones to add his sig as well :)

10-20-2008, 11:13 PM
That will look so awesome when JEJ signs the other side of the plaque. What a cool idea!

10-21-2008, 01:31 AM
Thanks TE! I'll post pics when it comes back from Mr. Jones. :)

10-22-2008, 01:46 AM
Indy related, I've been able to pick up various Topps autograph cards from both Indy card lines this last year. Was able to score Jonathan Kwan (Short Round), Anthony Higgins (German Officer) and Ray Winstone (Mac McHale).

10-28-2008, 12:40 AM
Not SW but a TTM success from Sendhil Ramamurthy, Moinder Suresh on Heroes. Also recieved my Kuan and Winstone autograph cards and a fresh batch of new photos ready to send out.

10-31-2008, 02:32 PM
Sent requests out to Karen Allen, Brian Blessed and Andrew Divoff yesterday.

11-02-2008, 12:23 AM
Got a slew of items in the mail from Wattographs today... photos signed by Jack Klaff (John D/Red 4), Ahmed Best (JarJar Binks). Celia Burke (Greeta) and Terry McGovern (voice of the Stormtroopers). Wohoo!

11-05-2008, 05:16 PM
Woah! Awesome success from Shia LeBeouf! Mailed my request off to him last week. He signed the Indiana Jones photo I sent and included a signed photo of his own from Eagle Eye.

11-07-2008, 03:14 PM
just out of curiosity how does one go about getting autographs from the actors, is there a fee for each autograph, how do you get there addresses ? any help in this matter would be great

11-07-2008, 03:35 PM

For the addresses check out Wattographs (http://www.wattographs.com/AddressMain.aspx), just make an account (it's free) and look around there :)

A really nice Autograph Collecting Tutorial (http://p4.forumforfree.com/viewtopic.php?t=782&mforum=thecave)

Watographs has unveiled their new Connoisseur Series project #3 titled "The Wookies."

They've tracked down all the Wookies of "Revenge of the Sith" and are having them sign 2 16x20 images -each is available for individual sale at $199.99.

I missed out on their Ewoks and Hoth projects but I'm not passing on this one!

11-17-2008, 02:20 AM
2 weeks left to get in on Wattographs multi-signing of "The Wookies." I decided to go for the Studio image -always liked that picture.

Have some photos coming in the mail, gettin' them out for requests when they're ready. :pleased:

11-17-2008, 08:02 PM
I was able to find a vintage Topps card with Kay Freeborn on it, so I'm working on a TTM request for her and Stuart. I have a few photos of both Freeborns I've been saving anyways.

11-25-2008, 04:51 AM
I got this last week, but I was out of town and only yesterday arrived back home - James Earl Jones added his signature on this custom made Master Replicas plaque next to Dave Prowse

11-25-2008, 12:18 PM
It's done! Unique and awesome!

Nice job!

11-26-2008, 02:25 AM
Thanks my friend :) This plaque will be displayed with my Premium Format Darth Vader statue next year

11-26-2008, 01:01 PM
Nice job on the plaque sergiurusu! Gonna to a plaque myself to go with either my MR Vader Helmet or ANH Vader saber.

Carefully working on a TTM request to Koo Stark. Gonna send an index card as sending any SW item will most likely mean a strike out. I also finally sent out to Mike Edmonds last week.

Ordered the Wookies CS multi-signed piece from Wattographs! I went with the studio image for mine. Should be a nice treat to start the new year off with!

12-02-2008, 10:24 AM
Spaceballs Daphne Zuniga autographin a nice deal :D

12-02-2008, 01:44 PM
Hey very nice! If you can get Joan Rivers and Bill Pullman you'll be all set!

NIce success yesterday from Stuart and Kay Freeborn! They signed the photos I sent but no sign of the Topps and index cards I sent.

12-03-2008, 02:52 AM
Hey very nice! If you can get Joan Rivers and Bill Pullman you'll be all set!

Thanks. Not sure if Pullman, Brooks or Rivers sign TTM. Too bad Candy passed away in '94...

12-12-2008, 09:01 PM
Been trying to get some requests out before the new year -but I always seem to be running out of time. I may have hit my limit before '09.

12-16-2008, 10:49 AM
A couple of autographs from Frank Oz arrived

12-17-2008, 12:57 AM
2 successes in 2 days! Yesterday I received my 2 photos from Ashley Eckstein -Ahsoka Tano in Clone Wars. She signed both photos but not the index card I sent. But that's ok.

AND I also received my Frank Oz request back today. He signed the Topps Evolutions card with the recent "printed" signature and an index card with the above "signed" signature. The widevision card I sent came back also but unsigned. This is my 1st Frank Oz signature so I'm pretty stoked! Not sure yet if they are authentic -the jury is still in session.

12-19-2008, 03:56 AM
I sent a Christmas card to Mr. Wingreen - Boba's Voice (no photo or card to sign or autograph for me, just my Holidays wishes to him) and he sent a card to me as well - see what he says - he is a great person

12-20-2008, 12:41 AM
Thats a nice gesture sergiurusu! I usually send thank you notes back to an actor if I'm certain that they'll get them.

Success today from composer John Williams! He didnt sign the photo or index card I sent, but included his own signed 5x7 photo. Sent it in April '08. Very nice surprise!

Sent a request to John Dykstra and getting one ready for Denis Lawson.

12-20-2008, 04:32 AM
Congrats on Williams, I'm too waiting for his answer...

12-23-2008, 02:30 AM
Success today from Tom Kane! He signed the 2 CW photos and trading card I sent. One of the photos I'm doing a multi-sign on and is already signed by Ashley Eckstein (Ahsoka Tano). Next up: Lanter and Taylor!

12-23-2008, 06:02 PM
Question for Jayspawn and sergiurusu:

How do you display your photo and card collections (if you do)?

As you know, I enjoy following your successes. I've been very curious about the photos, especially. I can just envision every inch of walls and even ceilings covered with framed, autographed photos in your houses! ;)

12-24-2008, 12:32 AM
Haha, I actually don't have any on display. They're all in binders -I have 1 for each movie, another for Indiana Jones, another for signed cards, and another for Clone Wars/EU. When I move in the spring I plan on having room to display some cool stuff though.

Although, I do have the SW "Circus Style D" one sheet poster which is signed by artist Drew Struzan and I have the Richard Amsel "Raiders of the Lost Ark" one sheet signed by 5 of the cast members -both posters are nicely framed on various walls.

Appreciate the nice comments!

12-24-2008, 01:04 AM
Nothing at all wrong with binders! Almost like a coffee table book-type presentation format to my mind. Page after page of awesomeness!

12-24-2008, 03:58 AM
I have some on binders and some framed. When I'll move to the new house in mid 2009 and get my collection room ready I might frame a few more. I have a few displayed in my current apartment

12-24-2008, 01:11 PM
Wow! It looks like a museum! Well done!

01-03-2009, 07:06 AM
Thanks TE! :)

Autographs from Ralph McQuarrie

01-03-2009, 07:08 AM
And the letter from him

01-05-2009, 01:33 PM
Nice success from the McQuarries! Been needing to get a request out to him also.

In other news: Wattographs has started out their 2009 autographs signings with 3 new signers! Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia), Richard LeParmentier (Admiral Motti), and Goran Kleut (Lampa Fay).

Good news since I have a few items I've been holding onto in case someone did a signing with Fisher. I have an awesome black & white photo of Motti that I've been holding onto. And WG is offering an OP photo of Lampay Fay so I'll include that -why not?

01-13-2009, 01:04 AM
Got off a request to Jeremy Bulloch today. Sent him a few projects I'm working on.

01-13-2009, 05:37 AM
Surprisingly, most of my SW autographs are on B&W stills(I don't see too many people doing this anymore), since the source material came from the movie press kits. I have Carrie Fisher, Billy Dee, Kenny Baker, John Williams & James Earl Jones, & Peter Mayhew. So, I was glad the OP signing with Mark Hamill( I already had Mark from an old QVC plaque) included some B&W stills(some I'd never seen). I also have the late Charlton Heston on a B&W still from POTA as "Taylor." Would love to get Rod Taylor from Time Machine.

01-14-2009, 01:27 AM
Sound cool Jon! I have some black & white images I've been collecting, that I'm going to get signed and framed.

01-14-2009, 02:26 AM
Received this Aliens auto Alec Gillis & Tom Woodruff Jr. from Coolwaters as a present - see also the letter

01-26-2009, 06:32 PM
Got a success from Jeremy Bulloch this week. He signed a few b&w photos I had sent and included a small mote. 2 of the pictures I'm gonna send to Dave Prowse.

Also a RTS from Burnell Tucker. Address has expired. :tired:

02-01-2009, 10:19 PM
Wattographs has announced their February autograph signers. This month its Dalyn Chew (Jabba's Dancer Lyn Me) and Friday Wilson (Handmaiden Eirtae in TPM).

I just started a Jabbas Dancer's multi-sign so I'm set for this one. Gonna get her on my Trilogy Poster also. And I'll get Wilson on my TPM Teaser poster as well. Good lineup!

02-11-2009, 02:15 PM
Autograph success from Nika Futterman -Asajj Ventress in Clone Wars! She signed the 2 photos I sent with the sharpie I included. Interesting signature too.

02-16-2009, 12:18 PM
Woah! Wattographs will be holding a signing with Hark Hamill and Carrie Fisher themselves! They're taking send-in items only and orders for convention provided photos (probably OfficialPix photos).

They have my Trilogy poster already, so I'm seizing this opportunity to get Hamill and Fisher on it. Although I havnt seen it for a while, it should already have Billy Dee and many others as well.

03-08-2009, 04:59 AM
Last week I sent 4 Darth Vader photos to Dave Prowse to get them signed

03-09-2009, 11:59 PM
Sweet! I got a surprise success from Brian Blessed! He signed the photo and 2 Topps cards I sent with my pen. He also included his own signed photo of himself which was very nice.

03-11-2009, 01:48 PM
Received Charlize Theron autopen - but quite happy since I'm an Aeon Flux freak :)

03-13-2009, 02:42 AM
Oh nice! She has a nice graph too.

I'm split on autopens. Technically its a success because you got an autograph of Charlize -just that it didnt come FROM Charlize. I think if I was famous I'd sign some stuff occasionally rather than have somebody sign things on my behalf. Even if my mail became backlogged.

03-14-2009, 05:30 AM

Indeed. That's why everyone loves James Earl Jones, old generation actor, he respects his fan base and signs everything. No autopen, no secretarials.

03-16-2009, 01:21 AM
Got a few of my b&w signed photos matted and framed recently. Big thanks to Wattographs for the Hamill and Fisher opportunities which was one of my projects.

Pictures to come at some point. I'm moving very soon so all requests are on hold till after.

03-25-2009, 01:43 AM
Another question for Sergiurusu and Jayspawn:

What is the largest single item in your collections (as in size), and how do you or will you display it?

03-25-2009, 03:52 AM
If you mean autographs, I only have 8x10 pictures. Never got interested in trading cards or larger posters. The 8x10 are easy to store and also easy to frame and don't take too much space on the wall.

03-25-2009, 11:45 AM
I think the largest would be my cast signed posters. I have the Episode I Teaser and a black & silver trilogy poster. The Episode I is signed by most of the cast (minus McGregor, Portman, Neeson, Lucas, etc). And I started the Trilogy poster 2 years ago I think. Its signed in silver on the black side and signed in blue on the silver side. Each poster is 27x40. I plan to have them professionally framed someday after I 'retire' them. I actually havnt seen them in a few years -they're always off at a signing somewhere.

03-28-2009, 06:48 PM

I've always wondered if your houses were mountains of collectibles with no room to walk, or if your collections were manageable. I still remain very impressed by what you two have accomplished in you collections!

03-29-2009, 01:16 AM
If I didnt have so much of my collection itself in storage -my place would be an impassible labyrinth of SW collectibles. But I reasonably balance SW and the real world pretty good. I'm in the process of buying a house so ALL my collectibles are boxed up till a later time.

I got a slew of awesome autographs from Wattographs today. Reveiced photos from Goran Kleut, Carrie Fisher, Frank Henson, Michael Carter, and Toby Longworth.

04-06-2009, 11:18 AM
Wattographs' new autograph signings are with Anthony Daniels and Zuraya Hamilton (Arena Jedi). Been holding onto some photos for Daniels to sign -and I need him on my Trilogy cast poster anyways.

While I like getting autographs from Star Wars celebrities like Carrie Fisher, Peter Mayhew and them, I really enjoy getting autographs from the B and C cast as well. Adds more variety to my collection and adds a real sense to how diverse filming Star Wars really is.

04-15-2009, 10:46 AM
Not SW related, but I'm getting 2 Star Trek posters signed at my local convention this weekend. While the guest list leaves much to be desired, I'm adding Brent Spiner (Data) to my Generations poster and Robert Picardo (EMH Doctor) to my First Contact poster.

Wattographs is meeting up with Anythony Daniels this next week for his autograph signings. Sent in a few photos I've been needing his sig on along with my Trilogy poster.

04-16-2009, 01:34 AM
I always wanted to start a Star Trek autograph collection but never had the time alas.

04-18-2009, 10:40 AM
Yesterday was Day 1 of my local sci-fi conention. Aside from the massive snow storm (which doesnt help) it was pretty dismal due to the Dealers Room selling nothing new and the less than stellar guest list. I did get to talk to Brent Spiner for a few minuets and he siged my Generations poster.

05-21-2009, 01:10 PM
Wattographs this month is hosting a private signing with Lewis McLeod -the voice of Sebulba in TPM. I've been holding onto some items for just a signing so I'm pumped for this!

They're also doing another multi-signed piece, this time Salacious Crumb. Its available in 11x14 and 16x20 and will be signed by the creatuve team behind the character ie: Tim Rose (puppeteer), Mark Dodson (Crumb's voice) and Tony McVey (sculptor).

The multi-signed pieces they do are really cool so I always recommend these truely unique collectibles.

05-29-2009, 04:45 AM
I received the Master Replicas AT-AT Signature Edition (autograph by Phil Tippett)

05-29-2009, 10:26 AM
That got me thinking, I own most of Master Replicas' products -but not a single Studio Scale! Although there are only 3.

I got Tippett a month or so ago TTM. Had a great pic of him working on the AT-ATs.

05-30-2009, 04:25 AM
For me the AT-AT is the only one that matters, since my focus are OT Imperials. And I always preferred the SE/V.2 than the LE/V.1, I really love the snowy base. Now I'm getting 2 custom MR plaques to be signed by Ian Liston (AT-AT Driver) and Julian Glover (General Veers)

06-01-2009, 01:28 AM
Wattographs is doing their June autograph signings with FX Master Phil Tippett!

Very reasonable price too. I just got a TTM success from Phil but his responses are so random. Gonna get him on my Trilogy poster for sure. They're offering some good images of characters Phil played.

They're also signing with Colin Ware. Who played Rute Gunnay and Lushros Dofine in Episode III. Ware isnt a common signer and I dont have his sig yet so I'm in on this one.

06-02-2009, 02:52 AM
Wattographs is doing their June autograph signings with FX Master Phil Tippett!

Too late for me, I just received his autograph on the MR AT-AT SE last week :)

06-11-2009, 12:21 PM
I found an ESB Anniversary poster a few weeks ago. Its an original folded poster so I decided to send it around through the mail to get signed. Had a success from Jason Wingreen this last week so theres #1. Trying to decide on the 2nd place to send it -I think Richard Bonehill will be next.

06-30-2009, 10:40 AM
Sent a request off to Richard Bonehill this last week. Sent the folded ESB poster.

This last month has been pretty good to me for successes. Received: James Arnold Taylor (voice of Obi-Wan), Drew Henley, and Stuart Freeborn.

Still havn't moved into my house yet so all my TTM supplies are still in storage. Its always a chore to get them out then put them away after use.

Placed my order at Wattographs who is doing a private signing with Phil Tippett and Colin Ware this month. Can't wait to see who they have on tap for July!

07-01-2009, 12:41 AM
I decided to go for Phil Tippett as well, especially since I got a cool photo that might go with my MR AT-AT.

07-03-2009, 02:39 AM
The custom made MR plaques signed by Ian Liston (AT-AT Driver) and Julian Glover (General Veers) are displayed now with my MR AT-AT SE :)

07-09-2009, 11:49 AM
Looks great! While the snowbase is cool, shame the additional plaques can't sit level with it.

Wattographs has announced its July autograph signers as Femi Taylor (Oola) and Jerome Blake (Oppo Rancisis, Rune Haako, others). Gonna add Femi to my Trilogy poster and Blake to a few photos I'm working on.

07-10-2009, 05:52 AM
Looks great! While the snowbase is cool, shame the additional plaques can't sit level with it.

The 2 plaques are staying much better right now, than in the picture above (I should take a new picture soon). But I'm thinking of getting a few more plaques signed by Snowtroopers and then they won't fit inside the display case. So I'll take these 2 out too and maybe make a smaller display case just for the plaques (2-5 plaques case)

07-26-2009, 11:30 AM
I got a start on a Clone Wars poster at SDCC with Matt Lanter, James Arnold Taylor and Ashley Eckstein. I didn't budget enough for the endeavor so I missed out on Dee Bradley Baker and Tom Kane and Catherine Taber. Also saw Filoni walking around but didn't want to bother him.

07-27-2009, 12:35 AM
Thats a great start! They have several CW voice actors going to Fan Days III in October. Wattographs will probably be going and taking items as usual -good chance to get Taber, Jamie King (Aura Sing) and others there.

Got my order placed for Wattographs July autograph signers Femi Taylor (Oola) and Jerome Blake (TPM Rune Haako, Mas Amedda, others). One of my Jabba's Dancers photos is almost complete. Just need Mercedes N'goh (Rystall) to finish!

Cant wait to hear who next month's signers are gonna be.

I could've gotten Taber and Jamie King as well but was running low on cash for the day.

Wonderful!

I'm excited about Celebration 5 being less than a year away. Its the best opportunity to get stuff signed and meet the actors themselves. I'm going regardless of location. Hope you guys are planning on attending!

Not me, remember, I'm from Romania.

Please does anyone know where to find 5 or 6 plastic sleeves like Wattographs send their 8x10 autos into to protect the photos?

08-18-2009, 08:46 AM
Yes indeed. They're called Top Loaders. You should be able to get them at any comic or sports collectible shop.

Need to get my photos ready to be sent into Wattographs for their Koo Stark signing this month. CANNOT miss out on that signature! :pleased:

Now there's a bit of deleted trivia I never new about! I knew a bit about Bigg's deleted scenes, but didn't know of Koo's involvement as Camie.

That will be quite an addition to the collection!

Thanks, but you forget I'm in Romania ;)

Dave Prowse success

08-25-2009, 09:38 AM
I have a few of the above b&w deleted scene photos that I'm sending to Wattographs for the Koo Stark signing. I was also able to order one of their 11x14 shots of Camie before they sold out -had a good feeling on that one. I'm really excited about this one!

08-31-2009, 06:58 AM
Ian Liston signed my 8x10 AT-AT photos and included his own photos and autographs. He is always very kind :)

09-12-2009, 01:51 AM
The Winston Effect

09-12-2009, 09:46 AM
Thats awesome serg! A very unique, signed collectible. Specially, means more to a Terminator fan like you.

I'm stoked about Wattographs' monthy autograph signings with Tiffany & Melissa Kurtz! I have a few Jawas items I've been wanting to get multiple signatures on too. They're also offering Rusty Geoff which is a nice bonus.

09-26-2009, 06:15 AM
Thanks Jay! I also received Richard Bonehill as Snowtrooper autograph on MR plaque (for my MR AT-AT SE)

09-27-2009, 08:46 PM
2-1B voice actor Denny Delk, TTM on my own 8x10 which I sent with SASE:

09-29-2009, 10:43 AM
Nice success 2-1B!! But Its kind of ironic saying 'that' to you!

I have a ton of stuff going out to get signed at various conventions like Fan Days, the Hollywood Collector Show and Collectormania. Wattographs is doing some serious work!

10-05-2009, 08:10 AM
Mr. Julian Glover (General Veers) was again kind enough to sign my 3 AT-AT photos already signed by Ian Liston (AT-AT Driver)

10-05-2009, 11:01 AM
Very nice serg! I have a request out to Kenneth Colley, gonna send to Glover after I get it back.

I'm pretty stoked about all the stuff Wattographs is shipping out!

10-14-2009, 12:47 AM
Received my items from Wattographs this last week. Package included photos and some trading cards signed by Hassani Shapi (Eeth Koth in TPM), Lewis McLeod (Sebulba) and Phil Tippett! Everything looks great. They're also taking some photos and my Trilogy and TPM poster to Fan Days III in a few weeks -really excited to see how they turn out!

10-18-2009, 05:54 PM
Wow, I sent these pics out with a SASE on January 20th, 2004 (not a typo, almost 6 years ago) and got it back on Thursday 10/18/2009. :)

Very cool to get back after believing this to be a dead attempt for so long!

10-21-2009, 11:10 AM
Apparently Howie just got to some fan mail thats been ideling. Must be a really busy guy. Nice success!

10-25-2009, 08:59 PM
Thanks Jay ! I also got a signed and personalized form letter pre-dated March 2007, whatever that means. lol

I forgot to list the people I got in person at Chicago Comic-Con this year (back in August):

Tom Kane (CW Yoda)
Billy Dee Williams (Lando, I got 2 = an ESB pic and a ROTJ pic)
Maria de Argon (Greedo in the ANH reshoots)
Dave Barclay (Jabba's right hand and a Yoda puppeteering asst.)

Richard Le Parmentier (Motti) cancelled, so that's the 2nd time I missed that guy at a show.

And then there was the usual suspects of Mayhew, Bulluch, Ray Park, Jerome Blake, etc whom I've seen at previous shows.

You know, I'm still surprised I actually got Billy Dee ! I know he's been doing more shows lately, but he's still one of the bigger names I've gotten in person...I was bummed when he cancelled a few years ago, so this was cool.

11-01-2009, 10:56 AM
ChicagoCon this year had a great lineup. Most regular attandees were quite surprised.

Wattographs will be debuting their new Connoisseur Series piece today. They didnt give much for clues other than its going to be an original trilogy piece.

11-03-2009, 11:55 AM
Phil Tippet autograph arrived from Wattographs:

11-11-2009, 12:57 PM
I sent the same photo for the Tippett signing sergiurusu! Great pic. I got Tippett on my Trilogy poster also.

11-11-2009, 01:23 PM
More great signings going on over at Wattographs! They got a signing going on with Wayne Pygram aka Governor Tarkin in ROTS who has been on my wishlist for a long time.

And a mamoth signing with their new Coinnessuer Series Jabba the Hutt! So far they got set to sign with...

Mike Edmonds (Jabba's tail and the first signer to repeat during a Connoisseur Series)
Dave Barclay (Chief Jabba puppeteer)
Toby Philpott (Jabba's Head & Arm)
Howie Hammerman (Jabba's burps!)
John Coppinger (Jabba sculptor)
Jez-Gibson Harris
Bob Keen
Richard Padbury
Mike Quinn (puppeteer on the sailbarge)
Tom McLaughlin (fiberglass & foam lab)

Thanks 10 signers on 1 piece (so far)! And to think I almost started a Jabba Multi-sign myself. Anyways, I got in on one of their limited edition canvas pieces. Can't wait till next year when this is finished!

11-12-2009, 03:06 AM
The MR plaque signed by Doug Robinson (Snowtrooper) too bad it is a bit faded.

11-12-2009, 03:09 AM
Final MR AT-AT SE display with the 4 plaques autographed by Julian Glover (General Veers), Ian Liston (AT-AT Driver), Richard Bonehill (Snowtrooper) and Doug Robinson (Snowtrooper) next to the original plaque signed already by Phil Tippett (visual effects producer - stop motion animator for AT-AT's in ESB) and a special tall AT-AT plaque:

11-12-2009, 05:22 AM
Excellent display piece, Serg....all we need now is a nice 1/6 scale snowtrooper(hint, hint) from Sideshow(Empire's anniversary's coming, guys!). A quick question...I collect SW b&W stills(most of my actor auto. are on these. OfficialPix just got a truckload of new ones...many rare or unseen till now. How come they cost more normally(sale aside) than COLOR...makes no sense. Any idea, anyone!

11-12-2009, 01:40 PM
OP charges extra due to the novelty of them and because they can. They charge extra for Indiana Jones photos also even though it takes no extra effort of their end which photos they process -I'm not a big fan of this. I try to only get photos from them when they have a sale.

11-13-2009, 03:30 AM
Excellent display piece, Serg....all we need now is a nice 1/6 scale snowtrooper(hint, hint) from Sideshow(Empire's anniversary's coming, guys!).

Thanks. :) I need the autograph of Tony Smart, the last snowtrooper and I'm done. Hopefully he will send back the plaque signed one day. And I totally agree about the 1:6 snowtrooper.

11-15-2009, 05:35 AM
I did p/u about 10 B&W stills(on sale) from OP...mostly cantina & sandtrooper stuff for reference. They did have some nice actor shots for autographs.

11-17-2009, 12:55 PM
While the new OP photos were on sale, I placed an order. Gotta stockup for the Celebration next year.

Sent off a request to Julian Glover yesterday.

11-23-2009, 12:47 AM
Wattographs just announced that their Jabba CS piece has SOLD OUT!...

....AND that everyone who placed an order will also receive an additional skin piece from the actual Jabba puppet from Return of the Jedi! How cool is that? Kudos to the Wattos Staff for pulling off this landmark signing! Can't wait to see it completed next year.

11-24-2009, 12:30 PM
I'm a huge Aeon Flux animated series fan and I'm very happy I received the autograph of Denise Poirier as voice of Aeon Flux

11-25-2009, 04:34 AM
40% off at OP tomorrow & FRiday...16 new B&W images.

11-25-2009, 03:37 PM
Yeah, good time to stock up on some photos again. I'm still waiting for my photo order from this last sale at OP. But 40% off is a good savings and the additional b&w photos are pretty cool.

11-27-2009, 03:10 AM
Maybe you know I'm a big anime fan, especially a fan of Masamune Shirow creations like Ghost in the Shell. Thus I'm very happy when I received the autograph from Atsuko Tanaka - Major Motoko Kusanagi herself

11-27-2009, 03:13 AM
A couple more pics

11-28-2009, 11:25 PM
Totally forgot to order photos from OP this weekend for the 40% discount. I did order some sweet stuff from Zazzle with a nice discount.

12-04-2009, 01:24 AM
Celebration 5 announced earlier today -finally! Gonna be a great time for autographs.

12-08-2009, 10:42 AM
Wattographs is having a 15% off sale this month. They have a Hayden Christensen photo I'm thinking about getting -very tempting.

01-05-2010, 12:07 AM
Wattographs' January autograph signings this month are with Peter Sumner (Lt. Pol Treidum) and Phil Eason (Yaddle). I need Sumner on my Trilogy poster and a special multi-sign I'm starting. Eason cancelled at Fan Days III back in October and I'm ordering him on my TPM Teaser poster and on a few photos. Didnt actually have his graph either so its a good month at Wattos.

01-06-2010, 01:52 PM
OfficialPix discontinued their run of Indiana Jones photos unfortunatly. I did order a slew of them before the last date. Just saving up for a rainy day.

8 months till Celebration 5!

01-10-2010, 05:08 AM
Mr. Jason Wingreen, voice of Boba Fett, received my Christmas card and here is his answer, last year it happened too, he is a great man!

01-10-2010, 09:15 AM
Nice of you to send a card serg. Jason is the top man in being good to the fans. Shame he doesnt do conventions, I would live to meet him.

02-10-2010, 11:52 AM
Wattographs.com is having their February autograph signings with Dickey Beer (Barada, Gam Guard, Stormtrooper & Boba Fett in ROTJ) and Caroline Correa de Souzza (Sheltay Retrac in ROTS). Both obscure and excellent signers. I know a lot of people have been wanting Dickey Beer for a long time. He played Boba Fett durring the Sarlac/Skiff battle. de Souzza is a good signer, wish we saw more of Organa's posse in ROTS. Reminds me of a younger Angelina Jolie.

03-08-2010, 12:12 PM
In Topps' new Galaxy 5 trading card series, they've secured 6 dismal autograph signers. While the signers themselves are fantastic, Topps' has drowned out the chances of getting one against the large pile of sketch card artists. Anyway, the signers include Mark Hamill, James Earl Jones, Dave Prowse, Kenny Baker, Jeremy Bulloch & Peter Mayhew.

03-19-2010, 06:12 AM
See my post under SW Weekends also: does anyone know if the "hosts" during SW Weekends at Disney Studios Orlando also sign, and if so...what do you have to do to secure a slot(in this case Jeremy Bulloch & Ashley Eckstein). I remember back in '01 when I went down for Carrie Fisher you had to get to the park early & get a wrist band...don't know if that's how they still do it.

03-19-2010, 10:35 AM
I've never gone, so I can't say with absolute certainty. However, I've seen the signed stuff that people have got and its included Jay La'gaia & Warwick Davis who have hosted in the past. Just be prepared with somthing for them to sign is what I suggest.

05-07-2010, 02:25 AM
Wattographs is having their May autograph signings with Kenny Baker and Darren Robinson. Kenny of course played R2-D2 and Ewok Paploo in Return of the Jedi. Robinson played various senators in The Phantom Menace. Pretty good offering, considering that Baker only does a few conventions in London now, and doesnt sign his fanmail anymore. Robinson has never done a signing, period. So I think I can dig up something for both signers!

Celebration 5 is a few months away! Carrie Fisher has been named as the 1st guest. More to come tomorrow aparently.
