No Hasbro Q&A This Week, Double Answers Next Week

Because of the 4th of July holiday shortening this work week, Hasbro will not be doing Q&A today, instead they will be doing 2 weeks'-worth of Q&A next week.

Don't worry, Hasbro hasn't given up on these Q&As, they're looking forward to getting back to them. They did apologize and let us know that next week will have twice as many Hasbro answers to make up for no answers this week.

Also, in case you haven't heard yet, at San Diego Comic Con, on Friday, July 21, from 11:30-12:30, a session titled “Star Wars Day: What’s New, and What’s Coming at Hasbro” will be held in Room 2. Hear first announcements about Hasbro’s products that you might not learn about anywhere else, plus get a special sneak preview of the 2007 product line. Meet members of Hasbro’s Star Wars marketing and design teams, the talented people who work on the company’s Attacktix, Titanium, and Star Wars action figure line, including the designer of the Comic-Con International exclusive 501st Stormtrooper figure. And there will be Q&A with the audience.

UPDATE: The weekly Hasbro Q&A was interrupted last week, and now more issues have arisen.

As you can see above, last week Hasbro said that they would not be doing Q&A that Friday because the Indepence Day holiday had shortened the work-week, as Hasbro put it, "But don’t worry! This week’s submissions will be answered next week – in addition to those questions submitted for the week of July 10. We apologize for the inconvenience."

However, when Hasbro sent the weekly Q&A today (http://www.sirstevesguide.com/index.php?categoryid=13&p2_articleid=76) , there were only 3 answers, and the following message explaining why: "As always, thank you for your questions and feedback this week.... As you may have noticed, we [Hasbro] are one week behind. We do plan to catch up on the Q&A but we have our hands full preparing for Comic Con next week and thus will not be answering last week's questions at this time. We also will not be accepting questions this week or next week, but hope you will join us at our Comic Con panel discussion during which we will make exciting announcements and have a live Q&A. The panel discussion will be held on July 21 at 11:30 a.m. in Room 4." [As Tycho points out below, and Hasbro pointed out a week ago as seen in the above news post, the panel will be in Room 2, not 4].

So, there you have it, this week's Q&A will be the last one for a few weeks, then they'll answer the questions we sent in for the 4th of July week, then they'll start taking new questions again.

Room 3 is in between rooms 2 and 4 :D

I think Hasbro got it wrong. It will not be in Room 4.

It WILL be in Room 2 according to the official Comic Con schedule.

Now I know who responded to you JediTricks: it was the same guy who confused Zuckuss and 4-LOM back in the 80's.

You're absolutely right, they put the wrong room number on that, the first news article in this thread even shows that they're in Room 2. I'll put a correction on the article in the SSG news right now.
