Greatest battle C-3PO

Not sure if it's been posted yet.

The 1st release was with the Mustafar base. Odd since the card background is of the Tantive IV. Though E3 C3-PO had the Mustafar base. I've only seen the Mutafar base at TRU so far.

Corrected version has the generic Tantive IV base. I've seen this one at Target and Wal-mart.

I haven't taken pictures of mine yet, but I did find a good comparision here.

What is it with C3P0 variants this year?

First we had the battle droid head vs. regular head (okay this one I can see having), then painted vs. unpainted knees (I think the knee painter slept in one morning and the first batch went out without it), now a running change in the figures base (maybe the first one is supposed to be the demise of the Tantive III?)

I found this yesterday at Toys r Us. They had 1 lava base and like 6 of the other.

I haven't collected many of the "Greatest H & V" figures, just the clones, but when I saw C-3PO with the Tantive IV cardback and the lava base, I thought "WTF?" I'm glad Hasbro has put the more standard base in, just to drive completeist mad!

I just found the one posted above from RS. I have seen the other 2, but never this one until tonight. This one with the beige base seems to be the rarest.

Can't judge rarity when it's this new since for all we know Hasbro's got a torrent of these waiting to flood the country.
