Why???
I liked the movie. I like the X-Men. Plus, I want to complete the trilogy on DVD. And it was better than a lot of other summer borefests like Poseidon and The DaVinci Code.

October 3rd
X-Men: The Last Stand 2-disc DVD

I thought both editions that are being released, the regular version and Stan Lee's Special Collector's Ed, are single disc dvds?!??!?

I'll definitely get the Office Season 2 dvd.

I'll most likely pick up The Nightmare on Elm Street 2-disc Infinifilm SE and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2-disc Ultimate Edition. Both of which are released on Sept. 26th.

They're going back to Infinifilm? Curious. :)

Yeah, I can't remember the last Infinifilm I bought. It might have been the Butterfly Effect. I'm not sure, but I will definitely be picking up Elm Street though. However, I'll probably end up getting it through Columbia House.

I just pre-ordered The Office Season 2 from dvdplanet for $28.10. Seems like one of the cheapest places on the net. I also used store credit so its' not really costing me anything. :)

You going to be picking up Slither on Oct. 24th Cae? It will probably be a blind buy for me. :D

I'm not to thrilled about the upcoming King Kong & Narnia Extended Editions since I already own the deluxe releases of both of the original releases. I'm a fan of extra footage so I prob will buy them, though might have to regift my originals to my parents or something.

Oh yeah, I'll buy Slither, gotta support the good people in Hollywood. :)

They showed the extra Kong and Narnia footage at Comic-Con. Neither one looked worthwhile. Narnia added a couple of shots to the battle, with some harpy-type creatures, and Kong added a moronic sequence of a giant fish.

Did Narnia add a shirt to that scarfed fellow with the hooves?

Dude, don't knock the Tumnus.

I ordered Arrested Development III, Castle of Cogliostro, and The Transformers, and should be enjoying them this time in November.

The Tick I will probably have to wait on. :(

POTC2 is a no-brainer for me, as is the best movie of 2006 (so far), Superman Returns.

Transformers????

November 6, I believe. A two-disc, beautifully remastered (they showed part at Comic-Con) 20th Anniversary Edition with actual bonus features. . . and in widescreen! This is a case where I'll gladly double-dip.

Here's the skinny: http://forums.sirstevesguide.com/showthread.php?t=31710.

Don't have Tumnus prancing around the winter woods with a scarf but no shirt and I won't knock the Tumnus.

I just found out the other day that they released a special edition of "Some Kind of Wonderful". I'll probably pick it up at some point as I hear the transfer is far superior than the original release. Not to mention it has some special features as well.

I'll also pick up the Ace Ventura Dlx Dbl Feature set that is going to be released Sept. 5th. Yes, the first movie is going to be in widescreen format... finally! :D

The new Beavis and Butthead Do America release is coming out Sept. 12th, I will eventually pick that one up too.

Did Narnia add a shirt to that scarfed fellow with the hooves?
That's funny. The fact that a grown halfman prances around in the winter time with no shirt is chilling to comprehend.

Or was the scarf purely for fashion?

Is this some sort of new edition?

Is this some sort of new edition?

No, it's a completely new Evening with Kevin Smith. I think it's called: "an Evening with Kevin Smith 2: Evenin' Harder."

Linky: http://jayandsilentbob.com/evwikesm2evh.html

I saw that WM has Evening #1 for like 12 bucks now. Frankly, i'd prefer to order both through the Stash as I could probably get them signed and give my $$ to the Stash versus Wally World.

I was holding off on Evening 1 until the 2-pack, but for only $12, I might not!
Well, maybe. I'll have to check which way would be cheaper.

As of right now, the only DVDs that i know i will be getting in the remainder of this year are the upcoming Voltron and Transformers: the Movie ones. Ive heard that TMNT volume 6 will hit, but until i get solid confirmation i wont count it. Keep in mind, i really dont keep up to date on what is due to hit or not, so there could be a couple of DVDs im not aware of yet that i will get.

I picked up "My Name Is Earl" yesterday, which influenced my latest avatar. It also means there's no more DVDs for me until October 3rd. I get a two-week break. ;)

I plan on getting Earl although I'm going to wait until a price drop or when I can get a deal on it. Could also be a possible Christmas present too.

Sweet 'tar btw. Gotta love some Randy.

Does anybody have anymore info on these? I'm curious about the sound mixes, availability in Hi-Def, and confirmation of a Donner cut of Supes II. Thanks.
