The news story about that guy with the expensive collection states that he has all the 12" figures from back in the day, including 3 that didn't go into production.

What are they? Thanks. :)

I saw pictures of these once. . . and just found the site again. They were never released since the line went kaput after only 2 ESB figures (Fett, & IG-88). Also, I've read some Vaders were released in Australia in ESB boxes. There is a website, www.toysrgus.com/images-unproduced.html that shows there were more than 3 unproduced vintage 12"ers including Lando, Luke X-wing, Han Hoth, Leia bespin, as well as outfits for the original figures. Also shows various 3 3/4 figure rarities. Cool site to check out, anyway.

Isn't that guy the dude from Cloud City Collectibles? Apparently, it's only a small portion of his empire!

The 3 12" figures that never went into production in 1980 are pictured in the book: Star Wars: From Concept to Screen to Collectible by Stephen Sansweet. The figures are Lando Calrissian, Luke Bespin and Han in Hoth.

Like Turambar said above there were others that never made it into production too.
