This show makes me laugh so hard that I pee everywhere!! There's pee on the wall... the ceiling... the TV... the cat!! :crazed: There's pee everywhere!!!

Okay... seriously. I really do like this show. I'm sure no one else here watches it. But I just had to make my feelings known. It's a smart comedy that is full of mystery, drama and heart. Kudos to Salma Hayek and her team for bringing this to the US market and making it the only new show this season to make it to the top 20 week after week!

I haven't watched it, but if you say it's that funny, I may have to check it out. The commercials sort of turned me off, because they reek of the "this actress really isn't ugly, in fact, she's rather attractive, and we're going to try too hard to make her stereotypically ugly" gimmick that's in too many lousy kids' movies. I take it there's more to it than that if you felt the need to relieve yourself on the cat.

Well... the thing is, she's "ugly" to the superficial people in the fashion world. She looks like a normal person and is adorable. People finally figure it out realise that she is smart, good, kind, honest and those are the qualities that really matter at the end of the day. It's a really sweet show. There are moments that are fall-on-the-floor funny... especially the ones involving the b*tchy co-workers, Marc and Amanda, as well as her obviously gay 8-year old nephew Justin. It's pretty camp but apparently, loads of people are tuning in and sticking to it week after week. That's gotta say SOMETHING!

I watched the first episode and liked it, but I had to record it since I watch Smallville. I recorded the wrong channel the next week, so I missed it. I was returning from Portland last week, so I could only record Smallville, but I screwed that up by having the cable box set on the wrong channel. I've got too many other shows that I'm trying to keep up with, so I decided to let this one go and not try and record it anymore. It does seem like a good show though, and I did like her character.

Wow, I'm sold. I'll have to set the DVR when I get home. I hope that doesn't sound insincere, because your post made me laugh my *** off, and I will check out the show.

It's really an "either you get it or you don't" sort of show. The parts that are funny are so wickedly funny the parts with heart are so gooey but sincere.

Man... this show is in just about every top 10 of the 2006-2007 season list and I'M the only one tuning into it here? Yeesh!

Someone at work just commented on Betty actually being quite attractive. So, to test my earlier theory, I looked her up.

Damn! America Ferrera is smokin'!

Well, it's on at the same time as "The Office", so everyone else is watching that.

i've seen maybe two full episodes and liked it. America is a really hot actress. plus it won some awards last night on the golden globes so they must be doing something right.
