View Full Version : Fear Not...The Ultra JSF is on the way

From this weeks Q&A from other sites:

TheJawa.com: It's unfortunate to hear about the fate of the Titanium Ultra line. Is Hasbro actively looking at other ways of presenting vehicles to collectors that may be impractical to produce in the 3-3/4" scale? Come on, don't you guys remember the Collector's Fleet line?

Hasbro: Fear not about the last few of the Titanium Ultra vehicles…. they will be made available to fans after all, just not at mass retail. Look for details on that soon. As for your other question, we are always looking at new opportunities to keep the Star Wars vehicle program going strong. For now, the focus is on the Titanium 3" assortment, which has a long, bright future as long as fans continue to be an engaged in the format as they have been.

If they exclude non-US and non-fan club collectors again, I'll be really p***ed.

No need ot be pi55ed, you have many Americans here that will take care of you. Personally I think it will be an e-tailer only thing, especially if your link is still sporting this and the TIE.

Read CLOSELY what they said:

Hasbro: Fear not about the last FEW of the Titanium Ultra vehicles….

This leads me to believe they are implying the Falcon, the Darth's TIE and the Galactica- NOT the JSF or TIE- esp. since the former 3 barely appeared at retail at all (not at all, in some cases like my hometown of Bozeman, MT).

Anyone else read that statement like that?

It'd be nice to get the JSF but I'm not holding my breath. Besides- both colors of the AMT/Ertl DIE-CAST models have so far satisfied my ROTS JSF jones. :p

The Falcon has actually been released, so I dont know what they mean. It was on HAsbro's site, so take that for what it is worth.

Sweet, the JSF was the one I was worked up over. Hope they don't go for much more then $20.

We'll see. I'm betting it'll be the JSF and TIE Fighter that were in the catalog listings.

I'd really like to see some of the other unused AF molds get put out though.

Awesome news.

BTW, Falcon, BSG, etc. were available at mass retail, so they have to refer to the tie and the JSF

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Is there any news about this yet at all?

Not yet, maybe this Friday but I think they're still keeping it under wraps.

They'd better launch it for christmas if they want to make good sales.

RobertDD

It sounds like this will be some sort of limited release to collectors, so I doubt a Christmas release is what is being planned, or necessary (collectors buy all year).

Odd, it's been a while now. Maybe someone can ask a question about this at the weekly Hasbro Q&A thingy?

Yeah I know same posting as before, but still whats the hold up. Still no more info.

Is anyone else wondering if Hasbro has changed their mind and scraped the idea?

Go to the thread for the ASK HASbro and post the question about more info. I am sure we can tally enough votes for it to get some kind of answer even if it is"not at this time"

Alright, I added a questions to the "Ask Hasbro" thread:

In the past you (Hasbro) told us: "Fear not about the last few of the Titanium Ultra vehicles…. they will be made available to fans after all, just not at mass retail. Look for details on that soon."
It has been a while since then. Are any details available yet?

On Friday, we'll know if my attempt to get a follow-up on a previous answer worked, if it did I'll add it next time we send in questions no matter how many votes it gets.

Hi JT, How did your question to get a follow-up on a previous answer go? Did it work?

The questions wont be submitted until this friday as they switched to a bi-weekly format.

Hi JT, How did your question to get a follow-up on a previous answer go? Did it work? They didn't answer that email yet, we sent it in on Jan 19th but because we also sent in questions on Jan 12th, they opted to answer only the Jan 12th ones so far.

The questions wont be submitted until this friday as they switched to a bi-weekly format.Actually, that follow-up was submitted back on the 19th, Hasbro simply side-stepped the whole set of questions. :ermm:

Anyway, right now the question is doing well on our current list, a few more votes and it'll be the #1 question for the round.

Due to a problematic Q&A situation, I ended up having to resubmit the Jan 19th questions as this week's, and I only included 2 new questions from that round... BUT! I also included the Ultra JSF question as a follow-up, so we'll see how that goes.
