It won't be long now. We are in to December and I half expect these to show up any day at all now at retail.

I have anticipated this wave so intensely, that I caved and ordered a case from Entertainment Earth to make sure I get it. I will be hunting just as hard at retail for it, and if I am fortunate enough to find it on the pegs, I will cancel my EE order.

There will be abuncha troop-building just between the 442nd and 5th fleet clones. I will have to closely scrutinize the AOTC Sergeant to see if there is a significant difference between this one and the one from the EE exclusive set. I highly doubt that there will be (hell...I doubt that there CAN be) enogh of a change to make me change out the EE ones I have now.

Anyone who finds these figures...I would greatly appreciate some good close-up shots of the 442nd and 5th Fleet Troopers posted in this thread. I don't rely on the Hasbro pics. They are USUALLY accurate, but not always.

Those are two important clones from ROTS, and in good numbers, especially the Kashyyyk one.

Yes and your point being??? heh heh. Seriously, I have 2 or 3 of him. No need for me to get more and I'm breaking away from buying figures/ships/etc. for just the cool packaging. But if I come across him and others need him I'll be glad to help. Though I think he's going to be a bit easier to find this time around.

Oh and this is NOT the last wave. There is still one more for mass release and another Wla*Mart exclusive wave.

I too like DC ordered a case of wave 8 at EE a while ago. I have already found this wave at Target very recently, but I still need multiples of some of them for loose, so I'll hold off cancelling my order. When did the wave 9 go on sale? I just ordered a case at EE, after reading this thread, so I hope I even get them. There is a history of these last waves getting cut in production. :ninja:

I just picked up 2 5th Fleet Clones, 1 442nd Siege Battalion Clone and a Clone Sergeant on eBay for 8.50 each shipped. I am normally against paying premium prices, but 8.50 just wasn't that bad to me for these.

I have seen the stand errors mentioned a few other places as well. Seems to be a wide-reaching problem.

I finally found this wave. I got 4 Siege clones(just want 2 more), 2 5thFleet(just want 2 more since I got 2 in a preorder), 1 Holo Cody(they only put one out which was all I wanted), and the 1 Clone Sergeant they put out. Also got one each of the Super Droid and the 2Battle droid pack, plus the astromech.

They did not put many out. I actually got all the clones they put out, 7 total. But as that's pretty much 3/4 of what I was looking from those, I won't be depriving others of clones beyond exactly 4 more of these. I'm sure they're going to put a buttload more of them out.

I really like the new color...by the way...my 442nd Trooper was packaged with an Obi-Wan Kenobi hologram. Is it the case with all of them that they are packaged with the good-guy holos? I, for one, am glad as I am tired of the pile of holo Vaders I have from opening clones.

I was able to find this wave this weekend. I was shocked but pleased. Target hadn't put them in the system yet so they asked me the price. I said they were $6.50 to $6.63 and the guy rang them up for $6.00. Not as good as KH's deal but I would have felt guilty trying to lowball knowing the price.

I was so happy to see that Walmart stocked out the isles this morning after the weekend but to my dismay, Star Wars was nothing more that Greatest Hits and the first Endor Wave. Also saw some of the Hoth wave still with blue holos.

Ah, but I am having a hard time of it. In my local collecting group there are now two more army builders and they don't like to "share" their finds with anyone. Yet they post about how much they find....

I at least try to make sure the people who want one have at least ONE of whatever figure, before I start building. Usually I don't have to worry about that though as I'm for some reason one of the last to find them. But this time it's definitely different. When I haven't seen ANY from a wave that nearly everyone else in my local group has....well...you do the math.

If you can help Slicker, that would be awesome. Loose in baggies with all their accessories is fine with me. You know I don't need minty fresh, especially when it comes to army building and clones in particular.

I have yet to find this wave at retail myself. My close buddy here found the wave on a figure hunting trip he took last Sunday...but he had to go about 100 miles (each way) and hit like 10 each of Targets and Wal-Marts to get them. He said he found the remnants of the wave at out local Target this morning, but it was only Kit Fisto.

I hae 2 of the 5th Fleet Troopers, 2 of the 442nd Siege Battalion Troopers, and 1 of the AOTC Sergeants only because I found them for 8.50 (shipped) on ebay as I mentioned before (one of the $$2nd I got at F-n-S for 10.00 to even out the numbers). I posted a pic of the 44nd before, now here is the 5th Fleet Security Clone Trooper.

I am glad that the battle damage does not fall on the legion markings. He will look very nice after an ELO application.

You read my mind. When the 5th fleet trooper gets cheaper, I may buy a few. (I grabbed one at Newbury's, after a dissappointing hunt for that week's comics.) And, yes, ELO is great. It is also good for removing codes from TF keys. (Caution, when applied to cheap enough plastic, it will destroy the toy.)

I scored the entire wave (in fact, a whole case) at Target this morning. So, after fessin' up one of each to my buddy, I have one of each of the clone to keep carded and 2 of each to open (referring to the 442nd and the 5th fleet). And so the troop-building begins!

R5-J2 has benefitted from being cast in the R5-D4 mold. He also has the pop-up "bad motivator". I like it. Hasbro has come through a lot for us collectors lately. There is still a long way to go, but there has been much improvement since 1995! Because black is my favorite color, I think this droid has gone to the top of my list as my favorite figure of a droid. Not favorite figure overall...just favorite one of a droid.

Finally saw some of these today. Just three figures remained amongst all the Jerjerrods at Target. They had a Holo Cody, R5-J2, and a Kit Fisto. I got the first two but passed on the Kit Fisto since it seems to be a repack of the Clone Wars figure.
