I think the baby part of the story is the saddest. The only thing good about Anna passing now is the child is too young to know what is going on. However I know that the paparazzi are going to follow that kid around for a long long time.

Ahh Slick, what will your pointy little head come up with next??

And as for "respect", I don't think anyone can TELL anyone what or who they respect- I know that folks have to earn it, and if not, no respect, sorry....

I mean, not to get political, but I've seen some deaths celebrated in the most obscene fashion, making off-colour jokes about someone who, to most of us at least, was about as real as Spongebob Squarepants, does not fit in the same category as say, hitching a corpse to a wagon and driving it three times round the city- THAT is disrespect for the dead- joking about something so ephemeral as a celebrity isn't really anything but a product of our star-F-er culture and is a natural consequence of the way this type of crap is set up- folks having actual opinions on what people they will NEVER meet are doing with their lives is just as bad...

Okay, where were we??

And who'd have thunk that Anna Nicole Smith would the "most damaging and divisive issue of 2007"??? Wow, some folks really need actual lives methinks :beard: (no Isobaws cos I'm being serious)&

This third dude, the famous one, claiming he had a ten year affair with the deceased. why would you publicly admit that? Unless the kid is going to inherit the money and therefore not be of legal age to manage that fundage and thus require a guardian to 'look after a trust fund' until some certain age. and presumably cream off the interest.

Wonder how long it'll be before madonna states that she's the baby's father.

That is about the worst argument in the history of arguments...that is, if I understood it....

Off color comments are fine, satire and a sense of irony is admirable in a society that is full of ridiculous value systems (like ours, and the planet Kamino)...but we're talking about a bit of human dignity, self-control and that stuff....you know, the things that separate us from animals and Gungans...and that stuff isn't earned, it's a given...if it's earned then none of us would have it, because let's be honest, we're all creeps sometimes....but what self-respecting person giggles at someone's tragic death? If you're going to giggle, giggle at their idiot's death, like when they fall into the Sarlac pit or punch a lion in the balls and it turns around and mauls them....

Blast Smith for being a dumb blond and banging an old cooter for his $$$, blast her for that ridiculous show and her coked out behavoir on TV....but not after she's lost her son and now her own life....off color, yes, being an *****, no....

Share the love

I think I threw up a little when I read that Zsa Zsa Gabor's 59 year old ex-husband claimed to be the father, as well. :cross-eye

I think I threw up a little when I read that Zsa Zsa Gabor's 59 year old ex-husband claimed to be the father, as well. That's disgusting. What I found funniest was that he held a press conference to announce it! That's like Paris-ite Hilton holding a press conference to announce she has herpes. I don't know about you, but I'd be too embarrassed to throw my hat into this circus.

Maybe if those 3 gentlemen (term applied loosely) wore "hats" in the first place, we wouldn't have this circus. ;)

And besides, I think Caps should be the Father...he's got room in Lord Stanley's Cup for a triplet. Plus according to my dreams he is a bad father, so he would do Anna Nicole proud, I suppose.

Yeah, what he said- and I really didn't get what you were driving at, QLG, really, celebrities are nothing more than avatars. They are no more real than Barney Rubble to many of us. It's almost like getting up in arms about someone pointing out how wooden Qui-Gons performance in TPM was, since he "died tragically" in the film, Paris Hilton, Anna Nicole Smith, you name it, they are just icons in the system tray of life

Human decency?? I hope you never watched the embarassment that was Anna Nicoles show- and if you did, I hope you rushed IMMEDIATELY to go and save her from herself, cos if you didn't, you're being a bit hypocritical....

And if anyone wants to try and make me out to be some kind of inhuman monster or some similar crap again, I got a pocket full of slaps AND a foot looking for an arsehole to break off in
Slick was joking about someone who's alive, but some foilks are so full of themselves they just can't wait to point fingers and profess shame at any "base creature" who thinks that the whole Anna Nicole Smith thing and the fact that we are even talking about it just shows that we are, as a race, largely a pathetic bunch of fools driven by pure BS. I am kinda shocked that somehow we are supposed to become a bunch of somber monks when a useless celebrity passes away from their own actions, I didn't know Anna Nicole was the new Mother Teresa, guess I don't watch enough TV....

Maybe THAT "argument" was even more retarded, here's hopin :beard: (again, no Isobaws here)&

I saw a press conference last night, where this ugly dishevelled teenager was saying, "That baby is mine, I totally did it with that lady. What, she's dead? Eww, gross, I didn't do it with her but the baby is still mine if there's money involved."

Oddly, his written statement was so full of spelling errors, I couldn't make heads or tails of it.

O.J. Simpson Says Anna Nicole Smith's Baby Might Be His
Wednesday, March 07, 2007

O.J. Simpson reportedly said he is "throwing his hat into the ring" regarding the paternity battle over Anna Nicole Smith's baby, citing his "slow-moving sperm."

Documentary filmmaker Norm Pardo who filmed 70 hours of footage with Simpson from 2000 to 2005 told the New York Post that Simpson said "he knew Anna Nicole pretty well, and he said he had slow-moving sperm, and he might be the father."

Simpson and Smith starred together in "Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult."

Simpson even joked that he hoped the baby wasn't his as Fred Goldman the father of Ron Goldman, whom Simpson was acquitted of murdering along with his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson might try to take her.

"I hope they don't do a DNA test on Anna Nicole's baby. If they find out Dannielynn is mine, I don't want Fred Goldman trying to seize her money or the baby herself," Pardo claims Simpson said.

Goldman has pursued Simpson for damages in the civil court since Simpson was cleared of murdering his son.

Smith's companion Howard K. Stern and her ex-boyfriend Larry Birkhead both claim they are the father of Smith's 6-month-old daughter Dannielynn, and are battling her estranged mother for custody of the child.

Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband and Smith's former trainer have also said they could be the father.

Meanwhile, Smith's jailed ex-boyfriend fears a tape of him having sex with the former Playboy Playmate is among the items that were stolen in a raid on her home in the Bahamas.

Mark Hatten, who is serving time for making terrorist threats against Smith and beating up her neighbor, has revealed the existence of the sex tape in recent correspondence with Smith's mother, Virgie Arthur.

In one letter to Arthur, obtained by TMZ.com, Hatten urges her to find and destroy the tape, explaining his ex was "against pornography (hardcore)."

In other news, Smith's bodyguard talked to Florida's Seminole Police Department Wednesday about the circumstances surrounding her death, TMZ reported.

Cops went to the house of "Big Moe" Wednesday morning in Pembroke Pines, Fla., because they had questions about the security camera video at the hotel where Smith died.

Big Moe told the cops Smith was on "heavy doses" of prescription drugs that day, including flu medicine and antibiotics, sources told TMZ.

Sources also said Moe also told cops that in the months leading up to Smith's death, Stern gave her "some types of drugs," though he didn't specifically know which. As he put it, "Anna was in a cloud."

Does anyone have Sirius Radio and know what "the real Howard Stern" (the radio jockey) has said about this? Are people ever mistaking him for Smith's lover? Has he claimed to be the baby's daddy?

Oh, and why aren't the paternity test results known by now? Jerry Springer could deliver the answer in an hour!
