that hoth set is just a facade of a base. i would hope that this set had a greater brick count than that.

Pretty cool. I dunno about that Republic Cruiser, it looks stubby and no way to have an interior, but it's in the $90 price range if you go by the piece count. But it does look like LEGO's type of building recently.

The Hoth set I was gonna say "lame" to, but I do like the looks of the doors even with the white & blue BURPs, the probe droid, Hoth turret, and improved Snowspeeder.


Stupid April Fools ruins everything, news like this has to be put through an extra step before it can be confirmed around this time of year, I hate it. It kept me up until 3:40am, but I found it. Apparently these images are taken from the Brickfest convention, along with these:

I'm more excited about upcoming Town sets than these. I'd rather see more $10 Battle Packs with Snowtroopers/Rebels than high-priced "playsets" like this one.

I could care less about the LEGO maquettes and I could survive without seeing another prequel set for the rest of my life.

I completely agree with you. Being that I already have the Snowspeeder, I might pass on this one.

I don't mind hearing that at all. I'm not 100% sold on this yet. I'd like to see some photos of this poster from a different site (not Flickr) or from TRU or Lego. It's just a little close to 4/1 to be 100% believed.

The Hoth set is petty lame (thumbs down). A set of doors! Come on. The repair thing and control booth just doesn't cut it. And the doors are completely built wrong. Snowspeeder, :o who cares :o . I have a couple already. Mini-figures, I like the rebels and Snowtroopers. Luke and Dax, :o who cares :o . How about Wedge and Janson? The turret is ok. It's not great, but not terrible either. The Probot is terrible. The arms are way too short are starters. That and it doesn't look much like the Probot.

The Cruiser is a really nice looking set. I'd like to see the interior. I'm thinking that it's going to be like the ISD. A small cockpit that can hold a mini-figure and a area mid ship for the other mini-figures.
